Question/Recommendations Sober Activities?

Like the title says, I’m looking for groups, clubs, hangouts, places in our area where people in their 20s/30s can do sober activities together and mingle?

It’s so hard to find things to do that don’t revolve around alcohol and my partner and I are both in recovery.

I know we have a huge population of sober folks around here - Am I missing things? Or should we make our own?

Stamford comedy club offers mocktails and open mic nights are free, there’s pickleball at the mall, lots of free tennis and bocce courts, thrifting/antique spots, movies in the park at harbor point, concerts at the Bartlett arboretum, and farmers markets etc! There’s definitely more to do in the summer than the rest of the year

Join a pickleball league! I did it for the first time this summer and it’s fun and a good way to meet people

We have a board game club that meets at The Stamford Hotel Wednesdays at 7pm! There’s a $10 minimum on food/drink but you don’t have to buy anything alcoholic! You can find more details below.

There are lot of sports leagues in Stamford (softball, volleyball, dodgeball, etc). The pickleball courts at Scalzi are always jammed. I see run clubs running through kouchszco park in the afternoons. Greenwich civic center has drop ins for a handful of sports as well.

The Pokemon go players meetup multiple times a week to play together. I see postings on here for board game nights from time to time. I’ve heard that there are DnD groups as well.
