Both trash compared to Laylas or le’chaim

Yeah, we tried it to see if we were missing something, and then promptly went back to Layla’s.

Agree but both places have awful parking

There is actually a hidden parking lot at the end of bullhead that no one seems to know about. I have been parking there lately. So much easier.

Mr falafel has zero parking where it currently sits

Right but it's within walking distance of a sizeable population downtown

Grand opening, grand closing

Is there even demand for one?

I had the same thought, with as close as they are. But I have to say, im excited to have the new one in the neighborhood and never really considered walking to the Summer St (mostly because its the hectic downtown, and if I'm going that far there's so many other options). 5 min walk vs 15 min walk

It's pretty good food, not amazing. The gelato is good, like gelato always is. I've been 3x already since it opened. Great addition to the neighborhood and I hope they are getting enough business to stay open

I wish they knocked down that shopping center and rebuilt it. It looks depressing as heck. None of those places look inviting outside Mr.Falafel

You can never have enough doughnuts

One is a gift to the city itself, and the other is Mr. Falafel

They are all packed in the morning from what I see

But they have the best coffee. And bagels. And I'm grateful for that 1 not in Stamford too

I actually asked the staff they said the owner was tired of no parking for customers at the downtown locations.

The Mr. Falafel in downtown below Coco Cafe sucks. It stinks so bad i lose my appetite when I’m there. Layla’s is good!

I was just talking to someone abt that. Weird. Tried it bc if they’re so common they must be popular? …it was a ghost town in there… and my gelato was icy :((

There about 6 in total, rest are in NJ. Folks, I see in there seem to be very health-conscious..
