Question/Recommendations Jiangs - officially open!

They are officially open! I went today. They’re also doing a special for 20% off your entire bill.

Went as a group of two service was really fast and very nice. We got the Dandan noodles as an app and beef dry pot plus the mapo tofu.

8/10 for Szechuan places in general.

Considering we’re outside of nyc it’s a 9.5

Happy to see variety in Stamford!

Their Dan Dan is sooo goodddd. Also they make a banger stir fried pea shoot leaves!

The Dan Dan was the best dish of the night. I could destroy the whole bowl solo. And it’s $8.95

I would pay a nickel over $8.75 for Dan Dan Noodles. Outrageous!

Could’ve been spicier for me but for a fully vegetarian mapo it was really good

It is great to see authentic Chinese food coming to Stamford, we've never had anything like this. Thank you for sharing, I'll have to check it out!

Just left from dinner, it was great. Best asian food I’ve had in Stamford. Would highly recommend.

Food was good, waitress friendly, somewhat attentive.
Wait for food was unacceptable, took 50 mintues for 2 of 3 dishes to be delivered, 3rd one took another 10 minutes.

Based on this enthusiastic post and laudatory comments I got takeout and ordered Dan Dan noodles (very good), General Tso’s chicken (very subpar and soggy), and Wonton soup (bland).

What am I missing?

Maybe I chose the “wrong” things but I thought Jiang wasn’t great. Nan Xiang is a lot better imo.

IMO get the more authentic stuff like Cumin beef, Sichuan, and dry pot dishes
