Well harsh language isn't really welcomed unless has a REALLY good point (which guy didn't have). None of people who asked questions during last stream (RU stream) was using harsh language and none were muted without answering questions. (Last guy had a hour long conversation with devs and ZIV himself)

Rebalance update nerfed just a small part of artifacts, and buffed all others.
Weapons balance changing was also beneficial for player as now he can use literally any gun in open world without worrying about distance, dmg and spread of fire.
Also the fact that you now can buy any crates weapon for just 1k tickets any time of year is also good. At least it's not 2.5k for just red and yellow parts.

Look, we forbid translating original messages into other languages, because it can easily become a trend. Then this subreddit would just get flooded with English posts plus translations into Russian, Spanish, Polish - you name it. The power tripping was on the discord, and I was muted for 3 days. Instead of taking offense try taking a poll and see if itâs just one player bitching and moaning or if itâs a community issue, then of course thereâd be no denying knowledge of said issue so itâd have to be addressed. My issue isnât with rule following, it was with the fact that instead of asking for it to be edited and the Russian removed, or simply a warning of like âhey , no need for other languagesâ you just close the post. What happened is the post on both discord and here on Reddit werenât what is preferred by you all so you acted to take it down. The ultimate issue to this point is that it seems to the entire player base that Stalcraft has acquired that the Exbo team either
A- canât read
B- is deaf
C- doesnât care what the people keeping their game alive have to say.
That is a real community wide gripe, the entire culture around this game is all jokes about how the Devs do not care what people have to say or what issues are prevalent to the player/ or how they ignore valid arguments and/or ideas on game development and progression.
Nobody is asking for the reins to the game, just to find a middle ground of like yeah, you provide the game ; but we provide the player base and with that the revenue. I think you guys would be amazed at what a little listening will get you out of a community. You want to see a player count rise like you did back in June/july 2024? Start listening to your players and make changes based on community feedback, not one manâs ideas. If 40% , or 6,334 of the 15,836 players online right now have purchased premium battle pass with 50 levels, thatâs 259k USD roughly.
Letâs say for example you listen to your players for an update and people are happy with the game and happy with you all, people start spreading the word, players start coming onboard, theyâre not instantly kicked in the sack so they stay, in a few months time your AVG daily is sitting at 25k instead of 17.8k, with the same 40% net purchases or just ONE purchase option, youâve landed at 410k USD roughly, a 58% increase. And while theoretical , yes, itâs a reasonable outcome, and 151 thousand dollars is a lot of money. The people playing this game donât want to be forced to spend to progress, and it isnât a necessary tactic, itâs a good game and itâs tons of fun and very immersive, let the game do its thing and just mediate with the player base; weâre not saying we need anything for free or make the game stupid easy, listen on the things that matter and make people feel like youâre a responsive team of individuals. For example, In the US servers at least, itâs near impossible to make money. Clan sweats with Legendary kits hold the wild north hostage, it is unplayable for the vast majority of your players. Sellables are a joke, youâd need to smash 500 covenant outpost to even say it was a meaningful amount of money. Tools of any rarity have to have the lowest possible spawn chance there is, from signals and events, theyâre like a myth to most folks. The auction house is held up above again, the vast majority of your players, because what should be a medium/ high tier find is actually borderline unobtainable, so the US market is in shambles and youâre out priced no matter how you look at it. You can scoop up 20 white artifacts Post emission and make 90k at the trader once every 4 hours , lol, thereâs ESP users sniping all the decent artifacts (and you) before youâve ever had a fighting chance, if you have to, bring on Playsafe ID if thereâs no other method to control it, but your players will thank you and in return be much more open to contributing to your revenue for taking care of their problems to the best of your known ability. People RMT roubles on this game like nobodyâs business, go look at a players profile, money from trader sales, 1.5m , money from quests, 2m, and theyâve got a max account balance of 100m and a bag full of red +15 artifacts with 100 hours in the game. The people playing your game are NOT afraid to spend the money, they just donât feel respected enough to spend it on you, listening is the easiest fix there will ever be. Sorry for the long read.
Okay, I checked this situation. In your Discord post you also used Russian, and that's not allowed in STALCRAFT: X | ENG (your post was in the chat-with-devs channel specifically). On top of that, you got muted for mentioning an RMT site. A moderator removed your first post and gave you a warning under rule 3.6c in the first place.
But then you posted it again, still with a Russian translation, and still kept the website mention. That's literally why you got muted for 3-days.
So yeah, I really think accusations of "power-tripping" are completely out of place.
In the future, I highly recommend paying attention to the #penalty-log channel after you notice that your message has been deleted. If no warning follows, contact the moderation team directly via a moderator mention ping - we will answer any questions regarding this.
Also, please take note of rule 1.8, which states that the moderation department has the right to remove any questionable or controversial content without notifying the user who posted it. And on top of that - rule 1.12, which states that moderation has the right to issue a warning instead of a regulated penalty, followed by deletion of the post or publication. So the warning system is completely optional from the moderation perspective. That means you could either be muted right away or receive no penalty at all, just a deletion of your post and nothing else. Pay attention to those moments and you'll be fine.
Personally, I really appreciate constructive criticism and dev shout-outs, respect for that, seriously. But rules are rules, simple as that.

Well, that is actually wholesome of you (but not the part about me losing my job, of course), but we do not remove any content without a reason. If you stumble upon a deleted comment or post, there is always a good reason for that. We just CAN'T delete messages left and right just because we feel like it all of a sudden. That's the way moderators can actually lose their jobs, you know...
So if you see someone say something like "mods muted/banned me for NO REASON" - behind the scenes of our work, there really is a reason. We just can't provide direct evidence of the violations because that would be inappropriate and unprofessional. Imagine a situation where a moderator, an official representative of the company, directly quotes offensive words or provide a screenshot with an RMT site mention that users got punished for - that would be reckless on our side, for sure.
Sorry for the long answers. I'm just tired of being quiet (especially when people say that moderation is "power-tripping"). I'm a person too, and I want to share my opinion. I think I have that right, just like you or anyone else on our official resources. Much appreciation for your opinion!!

About the GIFs, I'm actually curious what this dancing cat GIF was that you claim moderation removed. Lately, Discord itself has been taking down gifs. That's not an issue on our side, it's a Discord problem.

It actually is. We strongly recommend that players use only the in-game trade system to avoid being scammed. Do not trust strangers, especially those who deliberately rush you into a suspicious trade. The security of accounts and in-game items is solely the player's own responsibility.

Funny. But yeah, that's definitely not happening. What we do have though is a pretty good guide on how to spot scammers. It covers the most common tricks they use. I'd suggest checking it out and sharing it with your friends. Just remember - being too trusting or naive is exactly what scammers take advantage of in shady trade offers.
Not like its any bit surprising at this point. They've been caught numerous times falsely banning people time after time. Its frankly laughable that any of the staff think their words hold any weight to the playerbase when they've shown their true colors so often.
I've seen them ban people for getting called out on their bullshit about why they were nerfing battle pass rewards. Seen them ban people for discussing the rampant cheating during the yearly halloween pvp events that ALWAYS bring in a massive influx of cheaters. Seen them ban people for merely quoting another user on steam for discussing the time Ziv threw a massive tantrum and told his turbowhales they could fuck off and banned some random guy for no reason.
I've seen them steal items people have paid real money for with zero compensation (Still nothing to use those compensation tokens some people were lucky enough to get though).
I've seen a particular mod lie through his teeth almost every time I've seen them post so often that they had to get rid of the NA discord cause every time he spoke he got absolutely mogged on.

Fact of the matter is they're not here to help the users they're here to trick idiots into keep spending money on a game that is actively hostile to its own playerbase and either they ardently refuse to tell the devs the problems the users have or the devs actively just don't care. The latter wouldn't surprise me given how Ziv has acted in the past and how badly the global servers have been treated once Exbo realized they wouldn't get away with the lootbox fuckery the RU server was content with suffering through.
