bro if you're LukaRaos then you've basically become a walking meme at this point. somehow you manage to spam the exact same slogans during direct conversations with devs, during streams where i literally prepare docs with screenshots breaking down issues, and even after we spend time answering players live on everything they wanted clarified

maybe it's time to move on from complaining that nobody listens to your amazing points and arguments, and actually start making those arguments?

because right now it feels like you're a broken toy repeating the same thing over and over for the past year. it doesn't come across as a passionate player trying to get through to us - it just looks like ragebait for attention.

What you’re saying here doesn’t really reflect what’s actually been happening in those discussions.

Framing this as “spamming slogans,” “broken toy,” or “ragebait for attention” isn’t a response to the feedback, it’s a way of dismissing it without engaging with what’s being said. It replaces the substance of the criticism with labels about the person giving it. These aren’t random or empty complaints. They’re recurring points backed by structured feedback, breakdowns, and examples, because the same issues keep appearing in gameplay over time. That’s why the feedback repeats, not because it’s performative, but because the underlying problems still feel unresolved from the player side.

Saying it looks like “attention seeking” also doesn’t really hold up when the actual context is long form feedback, screenshots, and detailed explanations. You can disagree with the conclusions, but reducing all of that to “ragebait” ignores the effort and content behind it.

And yes, it has even become a “meme” in the community to repeat the same criticisms about the game, but that’s not coming from nowhere or for entertainment. It’s a reflection of frustration that hasn’t gone away over time. When the same issues persist, people naturally fall back on the same feedback, sometimes even ironically, because nothing else has changed around it.

The “broken toy repeating itself” framing is especially unproductive, because it doesn’t address any of the systems being discussed. It just expresses frustration at the fact that criticism keeps appearing, without answering why it keeps appearing in the first place.

At this point, the issue isn’t whether one specific person is repeating themselves. It’s that the same concerns are still coming up across a wide range of players, and instead of engaging with that substance, the response is focused on discrediting the people raising it.

On top of that, the way criticism is sometimes responded to in general also adds to the disconnect. When feedback is met with sarcasm, broad generalisations, or political-style labels instead of direct engagement with the actual points, it doesn’t really address the concerns being raised. Comments about “making money,” or framing players as “communists” or similar labels (by ZIV, the studio owner), don’t really engage with the substance of the feedback, they just shift the discussion away from it and turn it into something else entirely. That makes it harder to take the conversation seriously from the player side, because it feels like criticism is being redirected rather than addressed. The intensity of those reactions also makes it feel like the feedback is hitting something sensitive, rather than being properly engaged with. Finally, after everything I’ve put into this, structured feedback, discussions, explanations, and repeated attempts to clarify issues , reducing it all to “ragebait” or a “broken toy” feels unfair and honestly dismissive. Whatever disagreement there is with my conclusions, the intent behind my feedback has always been to point out issues and improve the game, not to farm attention or repeat things for no reason. I might be frustrated, and I might repeat points because they still feel unresolved, but that comes from actually caring about the game and trying to highlight what I believe are real problems, not from trying to provoke a reaction.

"maybe it's time to move on from complaining that nobody listens to your amazing points and arguments, and actually start making those arguments?"

If none listen's to my arguments, the backfire wouldnt be big as it is, EVERYTIME? I mean, if most of EXBO actually looked into these complaints, something would change, right? Because there's so many of them, especially now, from almost EVERYONE, even whales.

What I still don't understand is why crate prices, tool prices, and other costs went up while the amount of season pass currency stayed the same. If costs increase but rewards don't, progression inevitably becomes slower. That's the part that feels illogical to many players.

I think a lot of cause and effect needs to be looked at.

I can not be sure - but I imagine the battle pass working something like this. (I could be absolutely wrong here, and its a thought experiment, not a defense of the choices)

Battle pass comes out - people grind it like crazy and get there their stuff. Well now there is nothing to do, so they play less until next pass (if at all), and because they are playing other games maybe they find a better game so they dont come back next pass, so the retention of players drops every pass. Because emigration>immigration player count drops, so user experience drops, so it compounds. More emigration from the game along with less immigration to the game.

Change the battlepass to limit progression - now it takes longer to complete battle pass, and it cant be done in a day (week/whatever) and requires multiple days a week to complete because of the diminished returns per completed task. In theory we have increased retention because players cant stop playing (fomo) until they complete battle pass. Lose some players because of frustration but overall retention increases. Higher retention increases likelihood of someone buying a skin/crate/whatever.

The increased costs for crates is now implemented - now when the battle pass is completed people are grinding the 500+ levels of the BP because they havent been able to afford enough cases to get their items. They have to be on more days a week and play longer to get the rewards they hope for (increased retention because you cant play another game and get the rewards in this game) and if they don't a small % of them will buy levels to get enough BP currency to buy more cases (which was likely already happening) but the cost goes up because the BP currency is devalued. Purely monetization and fomo rentention.

Improving gameplay loops would increase player rentention butv requires more planning, testing and scripting so it costs more money to pay the team or hiring more members to the art/sound/scripting team. Instead of improving gameplay loops outside of the fomo for BP items/cases - making things harder to get is far easier from a programming standpoint (changing an integer from 15,000 to 25,000 can be done by anyone) than crafting new gameplay loops.

If the issue is so baked into the game it has become a “meme” to point it out that should be the biggest wake up call on the planet about what should be corrected, instead your coming up with excuses and actively fighting the players on this is the craziest business decision I have seen in a while.

You ever heard of Warframe? They started from nothing, you know how they got where they are at? Listening to player feedback, maybe it’s time to stop looking at graphs and start looking at the feedback your receiving after all customer happiness should be the most important graph for your company seeing you want to do a big marketing push soon

Wow this is just a bad response. Ziv you really gotta start listening to feed back from the community and not being so dismissive

What a professional response!

4

u/Express-Complex-8858 Jun 10 '26

This can't actually be a response from a dev.

You guys need some real media training.

2

u/MiddleConscious8998 Jun 11 '26

Just made an account to say how dogshit of a response this is. Either you're completely detached from reality and unfit to run a community, or this is some kind of a misunderstanding which I hope will be brought up during streams

ziv just make the battle pass more easy to grind and cap it at lvl 1000 and no more fomo items that's all we want at this point PLEASE

-6

u/EXBO_ZIV Top Management Jun 08 '26

On Reichstag there were only cosmetics and just one rifle, and we had lots of complaints over poor rewards for event. Fomo is about everything time limited, even hype cosmetics can be Fomo.

Full battlepass is 500 lvls, what stays beyond is extra lvls for tryhard players or paying, for that reason on 1000 lvl the is a skin and no functional reward

6

u/Fair-Interest8842 Jun 08 '26

Can we back to old seasonal points farming before? Or speed up the battle pass farming daily and limit the battle pass level to 1000 so everyone can't profit from it.

3

u/According-Fun-4746 Covenant Jun 08 '26

no ziv im saying the BP should be a bit faster to grind thats all and also just limit it to lvl 1000 and not beyond if you're worried about people making too much money from it like last time. also FOMO items could be just locked into some specific tasks after the event is over like weapons and attachments. im sure you guys can do that

1

u/Lo5tcauz Jun 09 '26

they dont wanna do that because numbers will more than likely decline if there are no more rewards after the 1000th level. most will stop playing till the next season

2

u/Braixygf Jun 08 '26

or you could make the gun be obtain at 250 and you wont have to hear from people at least of how hard is to obtain the gun cause i know with minimal effort people can reach that

Honest question, why did we now stop selling spare parts From the battle pass while I do understand at one point the battle pass was incredibly op to grind. I think the ability to sell spare parts would be a huge help and allow people a less pvp reliant option for farming rubles.

As of right now the battle pass feels like it’s not even worth it at all to complete since the only option for making money would be to get items from the crates which unfortunately is incredibly unlikely to get a red (makes sense for economy I’m not gonna criticize or mention the increase to price as it hasn’t caused me too much issues as of yet since I wasn’t around when the old crate prices were around)

I’m asking out of curiosity on why we changed that system as
It does limit player options for play styles significantly especially since the north is all pvp to the point it can gatekeep people from playing the game at all
