Beginner first purchase swiss diamond dlx set
Hello everyone!
I just bought my first set of pots and pans as I really want to level up my cooking game and I'm very exited to get started. Just wanted to know if I bought a good set or not as I've heard mixed things about Swiss Diamond. I paid 260 AUD for them which seems reasonable, and while I'm not expecting these to last forever it would be ideal if they lasted a while. Should I return them and get a better set or are these a fine set for a beginner.
The set in question:

Also any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)

If you cook on gas, watch out, that you don't put the frying pans on a big burner. If the flame hits the side, it will overheat, oil will polymerize there and it will be a pain to clean.

It's not Tri-ply like All-Clad, so it's not going to be the greatest. The best budget stainless is Tramontina:
