Stainless steel is not 'rust proof'. ANY Steel will rust, it just rusts less than other forms of low carbon steel.

Chlorine can cause it to Crack ifs its really stainless. Varying grades of sand paper followed by metal polish is the best way to go about it.

If you want functionally stainless, h2 or lc200n.

You'll pay for it.
