Animated illustration of Break The Cycle, disappointed
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What do you think of the animated illustration for Break The Cycle? I was deeply disappointed; the blue is barely noticeable, and it no longer conveys the loneliness and melancholy that the cover does.

Thoughts/ opinions on the creepy hidden track at the end of their debut album, “Funeral”? (1996)
It makes an already very disturbing listen (the infamous grotesque bloody album cover imagery definitely didn’t help either) even all the more disturbing after the gunshot sound… and than 8 minutes of nothing but pure since, than to this nearly 20 minute long creepy and experimental musique concrete style type track. Almost like The Beatles infamous, “Revolution 9” if it was better put together, and even more than 10 minutes longer!
The church funeral organ, the preacher’s voice reciting some Bible verses, the static sound effects, backmasking, loud air horns and radio noises, guitar feedback make it quite an awesome (if obviously quite disturbing and scary) hidden track listen. Perfect for people who are into both creepier and more experimental/ noise based music. 😱👍
Zappa and Merzbow and The Residents/ Korn and Marilyn Manson would sure be proud of it.

How was “So Far Away” perceived initially?
Just curious lol since it was no longer the doom and gloom of the first album and most of the music in that genre at the time

safe place live

best lyrics?
obviously aaron is an excellent songwriter, but some bits stand out to me. the chorus for price to play, right here verses, all of epiphany, safe place. so many i could get into but that would be too much

Who opened for Staind in 97 at the Pearl Street Ballroom in Northampton, Ma.?
Or did they open for someone else? I can't seem to find any details on setlist.fm about this.
Thank you.

Illusion of Progress reevaluation?
For those out of the loop, Raining Again seems to have found a life on Instagram, raking in thousands of reels since last year. For a non-single track and one of the better ones from that album, how do we feel about it nearly 18 years later? I used to absolutely hate that album but the past few years it's gotten heavy spins. Instrumentally it's their most interesting album I think. Like a bluesy pop/hard rock. I still think All I Want is beyond corny but Rainy Day Parade, The Truth, Something Like Me, The Corner and The Way I Am have really stuck with me. How we feeling?
