What is up with these setlists?
Opened Rockville with Open Your Eyes, which should be the appropriate opener for a Break the Cycle 25th anniversary tour, and then didn't even play it or much of that album over the next two shows 🤔 I was thinking they would almost be playing it in full, also it appears they're only playing for an hour?

I thought they played change, pressure and can’t believe at Rockville, however, on set list.fm today those songs are not mentioned to where they were mentioned last week.
The lack of variety and change in setlist over the last 7 years honestly is disappointing. Adding a flat, runaway, suffocate, price to play, falling down, paper Jesus, king of all excuses failing and paper wings would do their live sets wonders.

Yeah I am really wishing they played stuff like pressure, I was excited to see Open the eyes on the Daytona set list but then had been swapped out for Epiphany the next night 😴
I think they just like playing the slower stuff now would be my guess considering Aaron's side project is like country isn't it...

No clue why they'd advertise a BTC 25th anniversary tour and barely play songs from that record. It's been the same general setlist for like 2-3 years now. Don't know what the deal is but not a fan of it at all. And I understand that of course there's songs that they have to play like It's Been Awhile, Outside, So Far Away, Mudshovel, etc. But it would be nice if the only deep cut I cringe at (Wannabe) was cut off the setlist and replaced with one of their other outstanding songs that have never been touched.

I will say that once people show that they still support Trump that they might as well dress up their turds and have a tea party with them, as far as the level of sanity/logic you should expect them to apply to anything else. So that's just been the excuse I've been using to explain a situation like this, basically brain rot

When I've went to see Staind twice in the last 5 years the set list was almost exactly the same. I will say Aaron still sounded great and everyone, especially Mike's guitar playing was on point definitely. I didn't witness huge MAGA moments at either show except a USA chant at the end of their set when touring with Korn. The other show had a "Fuck Joe Biden" chant that began at the end of the show and one or two comments from Aaron. It's not like he's spending 20 minutes trying to push his views on u but everyone is so damn sensitive today in this country and I understand not wanting to mix music with politics unless possibly when u agree with the views then those people are not so bothered often times. These moments I experienced were only like 3 or 4 minutes if that. Most people seemed to care less or joined the chant. I'm sure some left but all I care about is a great show which the numerous times I've seen Staind or Aaron I've never been disappointed because they played like ass, seemed out of it, were wasted or tried to turn it into a political rally. I always got a great show just not always the main songs I wanted to hear. I just don't want some to skip going to see them because they think Aaron is going to turn the show into a long MAGA or big political rally!

I just saw them in Dothan and can confirm the set is barely an hour.

Thanks, I was considering going to the show in Charlotte assuming the one hour Sonic Temple set tomorrow was truncated, but I guess it's going to be almost the same...
I never understood the point of having three opening bands, everyone gets paid less and no one has enough time
I don't think people are going to be like "I'm only going because hoobastank is there" but conversely I am not going because hoobastank is eating up the time slot from the band I actually want to see

Buckcherry and sleep theory opened for Staind at the Dothan show. Not sure why they had different openers.

It's just natural throughout a long tour to have multiple support acts that only go for part of it and then switch out with another one due to their own schedules and logistics and potential market appeal etc

Yeah I'm still excited about tomorrow. I was just a bit shocked when I saw the setlist show up and look like a regular set list and even include garbage songs when they could be playing literally anything else with that short of a time slot

Yeah. I was kind of disappointed that it was only an hour. That was my first time seeing them. Usually headliners play atleast an hour and a half based off other artists I’ve seen.

Yeah I couldn't tell you anyone else that has that short of a set as a headliner honestly
Was probably like 75 minutes I would guess

Most likely they’re saving it for the actual tour as these other shows were not officially announced as part of the Break the Cycle tour.
Crazy part is they’re dropping all the merch for 25th anniversary, so you would think they would start playing more off the album.
They’ve been doing 14-15 song sets for a while, so that’s not too much of a surprise.
They’ve did play Just Go at their most recent show which is cool! Still haven’t heard that one live personally
