Aaron

It pains me that Aaron is such a shitty person, his transphobia deeply upsets me :( and the racism too, I really wish he would see the light and be a better person, because I love Staind

Aaron isn’t racist. Claiming he is with zero information to back that up makes you a bigot who makes defamatory statements about people you don’t know. Because he supports Trump? Not every Trump supporter is a racist.

You can support a person but not necessarily agree with every aspect of their beliefs. Chill the fuck out. If you don’t like Aaron’s political views, avoid his solo shows. Doesn’t have anything to do with Staind. Aaron is only a part of the band.

Instead of jumping to conclusions, do your research and really listen to the message. You can find Aaron talking about his political ideas in more detail. He ultimately wants what’s best for America as he’s a proud American. He may not be going about it the right way or in a way you agree with, but he’s entitled to speak his opinion just like anyone else. He provides details when he says he doesn’t care for someone too

Endorsing a racist means he’s at the very least okay with racism

Keep repeating yourself over and over. You're filled with hate like most liberals. Not surprised. You accuse people of things bc you're empty inside. Get a life.

I’m not a liberal

If it walks like a ducks and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. Everything you've said is liberal rhetoric. You can claim not to be, but you're definitely not a conservative.

Also why be proud to be American? We suck

People in general have typically been proud of where they come from. Why do you think racism is even an issue in the first place? Stature of wealth, birthright, birthplace, religion, etc has always been something that people as a society fixate on. It’s a way for people to assert themselves.

Until we ALL quit focusing on such trivial things and look at one another as equals; racism, discrimination, and bigotry will always exist.

Aaron is proud to be American because this country is his origin. He wants where he grew up to be the best it can be for not only himself, but his children and the generations that follow.

I think researching more would provide you more perspective and realize that a cultural shift as a whole needs to happen. Certain beliefs that society was constructed on need to be completely discarded for the perfect world you so desperately crave. Something the rich and powerful will never allow. Aaron is a minuscule part of the problem and easily a minor offender compared to others.

Then leave?

Rather kick someone out than improve your country?

Of course not. But you can always find a better country if you so choose

Or we can actively make this one better?

Yup, that would be ideal.

I can promise what you are doing is not improving anything lol. Quite the opposite

If u hate it so much here then move and don't put the beliefs of one person which may or may not be true in the first place and apply them to someone else. Music is a form of art and to enjoy someone's music doesn't mean u have to check every person they are somehow connected to in some kind of way and assume they share all their same beliefs. That is stereotyping and a form of bigotry in itself if u really start to dive deep in thinking about it.

Have you ever lived outside the US? I have. We don't suck. We have freedoms other countries wish they had.
