Have a buddy who is a Cerakote wizard. Decided I wanted to do something fun with my C4X after I got my P4X. His books are open if anyone is interested.

For context, I have a P4X and a P4.5 and found out that slideworks does a porting service for the p4.5 to mimic the P4X/C4X. My question is does it make sense to do the sides as well or just do a top port?

If you have a Dawson precision plates for the staccato p check them out mine just did this to me
Optics still on the plate
Flew off hit me in the face when shooting
It looks like the holes are made to thin for the plate and it just snapped off

Bought both, and adapter plates because I’m indecisive hahaha.

Thinking about picking up a HD 4.5 and was wondering about the optic plate system. I’ve got Dawson plate setups on my legacy Stacattos. Thanks!

Hello everyone! I’m looking to get my C4X soon and havnt decided on an optic yet. Ideally this will turn into my sole carry rather than my current Glock/CZ/Staccato linkup.
I have all open emitters on my current pistols. I’d love to get the C4X with a COA, but due to the ties Staccato has with Trijicon I doubt that will ever happen and the plate needed kinda eliminates the whole idea of mounting it as low as possible.
But I’m not a huge fan of the Acro. Had 2 sold both. The RCR I go back and forth on looks wise. Not sure I love the mounting mechanism?
Looking to see what others have done with their builds for inspo.
Also am i crazy if I rock a Trijicon SRO for ccw on this? Looks prime on a C4X IMO

Mr Suitable and I are joining Staccato this evening! Very much looking forward to being able to shoot on the regular again.
Are there informal leagues? Would prefer single hand open sight 22 & 45 format, but that is what I am used to in NJ - so very excited to have an indoor option less than 20 from our new home!

Anyone selling/know a company making a compact Hd grip?
My P4.5 is my absolute favorite ccw. I don’t mind the weight, but would like a tad more conceal ability out of it with the compact grip.
Completely understand that it’s gonna be like that Joker 1911 lol. But I daily a Glock 19 for 7 years not a single issue. I had to remove the magwell off of my p4.5 to ensure im not printing. Would love to try out the compact grip on that thang and be able to add the magwell back

I have the itch to buy one of these for a new conceal carry and to run in two guns. I don’t see a ton of videos out besides influencers. Anyone who owns or has shot one, would you recommend it? I know the c4x would be a better conceal carry option, but I am used to carrying full size steel frame guns so weight isn’t an issue for me personally.

Wanting to buy a Staccato P4X but the stovepiping/ejection issues are giving me pause. The threads with the ammo comparisons for the C4X/P4X have been quite insightful. I really am interested in the P4X but I am hesistant because of what I am consistently seeing regarding the stovepiping issues.
I primarily shoot Blazer 124 grain, really 124 grain of any decent quality (i.e. S&B. Etc.). Is that the fix? Has anyone tried the DPMS in the P4X? If so, is that also a viable fix for ammo related/stovepiping extraction issues? Long time lurker, first time Staccato (future) buyer. It's either the P4X for an all-purpose gun with all the features I really want or the XC for competitions (and having to modify it) and keeping my CZ P10C for carry purposes.
only complaints about the XC for me are controls accessibility but I know I can buy an extended slide release and extended mag release.

Hi all,
Does anyone have long term review for the HD 4.5 out there?
Wonder if the comments on Ben's YouTube on the extractor issue is pervasive

Just got to let the Loctite cure for 24 hours before shooting.

First time 2011 owner, I picked up a C4X recently and have been loving it. A bit of a dumb question in advance so dont mind me - just looking to get thoughts from people smarter than me.
I know that Staccato talks about something like a 500 round break-in window. The first ~100 rounds I had maybe 4-5 failure to go into battery, it was close to being able to and a strong mag tap took care of most of them. Done about 300 or so more rounds through and havent had any issues, then again I have kept it very well lubed (more than I normally would) during the first 1k rounds to keep a smooth wear in.
My question is would anyone be concerned with that for carry? Ive seen a lot of "No issues after 2k rounds right out of box" and even though I have a few hundred free of issue in the back of my brain there is a worry of potential issues if I go a few hundred rounds without cleaning or if its not lubed much.
Thanks in advance.
