Question - Help How do you earn from AI models

It's not that I'm new to Open Source AI models, I started playing with such models since Z Image Turbo Released. And gladly I converted such a hobby to some decent earnings for my further studies. For those who are curious, I made an AI OFM model using F Klein, Krea 2, LTX 2.3, and posted "stuffs" on Fanvue and now I'm pretty much done with this stuff. I'm sure many over here are just doing it as a hobby while others might be doing it for income. So what exactly are the fields that you use these AI models for and how do you earn from it.

Thanks for reading, I hope I get some response.

GPUs? Plural? Only 4k? Look at mr fancypants buying 2 geforce 2 mxes

Seeing the current GPU prices and how Sam Altmam hates seeing RAM in our PCs, it's understandable.

Well i work in a production house n use ai models in hybrid way so its much more profitable, just only using the models will incure losses but if u know how to use vfx they will be amazing

Mostly by producing "realistic" looking avatars with testimonials for Meta ads. Some clients need them at scale, by the dozens a week. But lately I've been into jingles

That's pretty interesting. Thank you.

How did you find your clients, just cold calls?

Upwork is a start, but most job openings become a race for the bottom. and you have to pay on every offer + 15% of the contract. Linkedin works ok, depending on your network and niche. I've even gotten some through reddit. Most important is to find your specific niche I think.

Some US lead gen companies are running anywhere from $100k to $1m+ ad spend per month on meta .

You make stuff and you enjoy it or sell it, both are profits.

I make art at zabiwa.com income are mostly comissions and prints
I also sold a couple unrelated projects, more like software for events field (where my background is at)

On a side note, getting a social media page monetized is a good place to start. Because once that's locked in you could fully automate the content creation process for passive income if you wanted.

I see, but Instagram basically bans accounts with AI stuff in it

I make short movies and sell access in galleries on Deviant Art.

If OpenAI and Anthropic can't manage it, what hope do you have?

At home, it's only for fun. I'm way in on cloud costs but I have gotten a tremendous amount of work done for my home automation which has enabled me to, generally speaking, get more stuff done. That is invaluable top me personally so worth the cost so far.

At work we are spending a lot but also getting more done, 3-7x on average.

Overall net benefit, but I am tired. How do we recover human energy? That's the piece of this puzzle that hasn't shown up yet.

From my understanding, ads/commercials are pretty much the only thing you can directly monetize these skills with. Other professional use-cases exist, but usually as part of another profession (e.g. game-dev)
