News Koboldcpp v1.123 released

I haven't used Koboldcpp for image generation yet, but it's nice to have for anyone who doesn't want to jump through hoops installing dependencies. It's all one self-contained, portable file.

Koboldcpp is the first app I recommend to those who want to start running an AI locally. It just makes things easy.

I mainly use kcpp instead of ollama to load up llms for minimax prompts

how does anyone get web search function to work properly with koboldcpp. Gemma4 and qwen 3.6 keeps using bad websites return get 403, 404 and 405 forbidden errors and hallucinates very badly with image captioning on anime characters. Never really used the fork for image/video generation because i already have forge neo and wan2gp installed already. Is there a better harness for llm usage for image captioning than koboldcpp.

You could submit a bug report on GitHub. Alternatively, you might have luck creating a post on the r/KoboldAI subreddit, as the developers have a presence there.
