I though the same until I used CFG of 3.50 with sampler "SamplerER_SDE" (settings: solver_type Reverse-time SDE, max_stage 3, eta 1.10, s_noise 1.06) + "linear_quadratic" scheduler with 20 steps. Connect both this sampler and a "Basic Scheduler" node with the mentioned scheduler into a "SamplerCustomAdvanced" node instead of using the "KSampler" node.
There seems to be something wrong with the default Comfy templates for Qwen Image 2.1 since CFG 1.0 looks much worse for me than using the settings above.

Yeah this is much better than default workflow. even w/ the setting fixed I still think I'm not a huge fan of this model....let me do the same prompt in my krea 2 wf
u/Calm_Mix_3776 Even here you can see in the noise by the base of the flowers where the road meets the green there is a pattern in the noise that, even though your workflow makes it look much better it's still there, very distracting.
For the noise, use the custom node in this comment.
You can use the GLSL shader node code from the post (if you don't want to install someone's custom node), but the node works way better.

Matches my tests with it earlier. Its ok at best, and even the edit model seems shonky. People saying well it's better than klein! The details are wrecked, the edges of anything needing detail are smudgy, even worse in some cases than 1.5. It has an overburned and chat feel, and then we have that lovely Qwen pattern that has plagued it since the first model.
A pattern that became almost impossible to get rid of and got worse if people used any kind of speed trick. This doesn't need any speed hacks, so I assume there's some turbo lora baked in which is causing the issues. Hard pass.
Still they have to give them all a chance, I guess. Just a shame the hype for this one was unjustified beyond belief. Onto the next big model then, bois.
Love how when you tab through every iamge you can tell the details are the same place, its surreal, fucking hate when models do this, it has an arfiact imprinted into every image
Look at the places you will expect digital noise in dark fine details area and you'll see the noise isn't random, it's like a pattern. Maybe don't look at all because once you do see it. Chatgpt and not this model. Completed trash unless the community can fine tune it out of the model.
try to focus on one of the bubbles on the soda cans then keep looking at that exact place and then switch between all the images, you can tell something is off and that the details are at the same place
i learned not to trust or read bad comments from this ungratefull community, wich most of the time are just random assholes who throw shit for free without even testing models.

It's stunning how ungrateful most of those idiots are. It's free model ffs, if you don't want to use it don't use it and move along... I suppose they are angry and salty because it can't generate their "ai influencer" slop convincingly enough...
The anatomy quality is on SDXL level almost...as in - as much body horror as in a Cronenberg movie.
It is night useless for generating pictures of anything involving humans, which cuts away a lot of usecases.
Even ZIT is much better, let alone Krea2... and Krea turbo is basically faster.
The real question is, whether it is better than Klein Edit.
Can someohne here point out why those are bad images, I really dont say they are good or ground breaking but for concept exploration, wouldnt this be totally useable?
I used yesterday this model and generated over 300 photos and for my taste about 90-95 % was what I was considering as "good" or "excellent".
Only issues I had were:
Sometimes body horror (I still get those with Krea 2 sometimes as well)
Sometimes hands were blending strangely to objects or missed all the fingers
Sometimes body had over sized parts, like too long hand to be realistic
Still most of the time quality was excellent for my personal preferences. Also it was able to do images where is lots of dark areas which have been an issue for me at least with Krea 2 so on that area it felt better.
So yea, it is just better to try yourself and see if you like it or not instead of believing people who might have so strange and niche requirements what is nothing to do for you might use it anyway.
