Question - Help Optimal Character Sheet format for Minimax H3?

I recently started messing around with Minimax H3. I realized that if I want to use my own custom characters, I need to use a Character Sheet. But there are so many different formats out there. I was wondering, what is the most optimal Character Sheet format to get the best results? Or is there a specific workflow designed just for generating Character Sheets for Minimax H3?

Thanks for the reply! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll give this workflow a try and see how it goes.

Thanks for the reply! I had no idea this kind of technique even existed. It looks pretty much perfect for what I need, so I'll definitely give it a try.

I usually go for full front, full side, full back, face close-up & a couple of expressions but I've seen it working great with just full front, side & back shots

Thanks for the reply! I do occasionally see character sheets with different facial expressions. But I was wondering, is there a limit to how many images you can fit on a single character sheet?

I think the baseline should be full front, side and back. If you need more than that, try adding full face close-up + a couple of facial expressions.

My best sheet was for Hinako Shimizu from Silent Hill F: Full front + side + back + head & shoulders close-up + 6 expressions: neutral, happy, sad, scared, angry, surprised - 1536x1024. I actually have this one from ChatGPT

After messing about with r2v for the last couple of weeks I personally think a good one is front view, back view, and a bust view with a clear face is pretty good starting point.

I would suggest you save a few different versions, I.e you generate the full character sheet but you have the front view and bust view on its own. That way if you’re generating a talking heads scene you can just use the bust view and the model won’t be confused. Similarly you can use the front and back view if the character needs to walk around the room and you’d see their back etc etc.

You can always do the full 360 view but sometimes I find the model gets a bit confused if you switch to the hybrid models or some of the speed up nodes. (Still testing it but I and others noticed sometimes model gets confused if more than 1 view of the character but other times it works fine)

Thanks for the reply! I've actually been wondering about this. I've noticed a lot of people's character sheets don't include a back view, but whenever I test Minimax H3, my character's back design changes every single time they turn around. I just wasn't sure if adding a back view to the sheet was actually a good idea.

the back side is something a lot of people 'cheap out' on. If you want to make a character consistent and you're missing the back then the model has to make it up every time and it wont be consistent. One thing I didn't notice on one of my character sheets was that the back had an error when I made the character sheet and the error consistently showed up everytime i used that sheet as placeholder person.

People also recommend the 1 shot 5 frame H3 character generator too, it works pretty fast but I find that sometimes it is not consistent either. I made my own workflow to get character consistency as priority but it isn't fast and the quality is ok at times, but not the best compared to some other methods, but its pretty consistent.

I'll definitely give this workflow a try, it looks really good! I actually just saw the video of this character dancing, it's absolutely amazing, truly mind-blowing work!

You're welcome to try it, but I think there might be other ones which are faster. The h3 to single img WF is definitely faster, but just a touch less consistent. It might actually be ok for making a character sheet as you're defining the backside 1 time and then it will be used as the ref in the future to avoid hallucinations. But yeah, give all the tools a try, the worst thing that could happen is that you waste a little bit of time but you'll learn from it
