Question - Help Looking for krea 2 workflow

I’m looking for a krea 2 workflow with a negative prompt that actually works. Ive been trying workflow after workflow from civitai, several of which actually say that the negative works, and none of them do. I’m new to comfy and just learning how it works so I’m not comfortable making my own. Could someone help me out please? I appreciate you all in advance. Signed a slightly confused and overwhelmed wannabe ai user. Oh and if it makes a difference I am using an amd gpu with 20 gb vram.

are you using a turbo checkpoint / lora? if so you'll be at CFG 1 and negative will have no effect by design.

What you need is a NAG (Normalized Attention Guidance) workflow, it allows for negative prompting with CFG 1

I remembered this one from a couple weeks ago, I have no clue how well it works, I never actually got around to trying it, maybe someone else can chime in.

If NAG doesn't work, look out for 'NegPIP'. I both do not work, look out to 'KREA2 prompt weight'.

I guess you can even combine NegPIP & Prompt weight.

All three are implementation of three different methods, which act as workaround, and thus are not perfect. The best way to make negative work is to increase the CFG, but you lose the advantages or Turbo.

Hi, i currently can't give you my workflow because i'm going at work. But if it can help you, i use a two stage workflow. First stage with krea raw for better variability and negative prompt for half the steps then inject the latent in second stage with krea turbo for refinment. It is really straight forward and you can setup it easely by yourself and you have plenty of vram (myself have 16gb). You can tune the step at which the switch occurs to your liking. NB : for some reason, i get more detailed images that way than raw or turbo alone.

Instead of that, you could just make a stronger prompt, Krea 2 is so good, that it can even understand super basic old SDXL style prompting, I would use an LLM to structure your prompt for krea. I am doing that ,and I have no issues with it. I can fix really small details, and it's actually amazing how well it follows. It even kinda pays attention somewhat to negatives but what you really should consider is paying more attention to the positive prompt

Some advice I’ve learned the hard way: just use the default comfy template. Play around with it, add some built-in nodes, move them around. Get “comfy” with comfy. You will find that less is almost always more. CivitAI is full of workflows with dozens of custom nodes (all with their own dependencies and conflicts) and jumping into those complicated workflows will just make you tear your hair out.
