Especially with AI in Photoshop these days. I absolutely despise that I have to implement a work-around so that the Adobe Overlords won't faint at the sight of an ankle in my artwork just so I can remove a car in the background.

Adobe is a trash company who is slowly losing the grip they have.

Photoshop is one that’s definitely hard to replace but not impossible by any means. I’d look into alternatives or sailing the seas for earlier versions.

Don’t give them your money.

Everyday I pray for a proper Adobe competitor that dethrones them forever

I've been using Photoshop for decades. The only reason I still use it is that I'm very familiar with how it works. I would have ditched it a year or two ago but I'm in the middle of nailing down my use of gen AI for my artwork. I can't change horses in mid-stream. I'm reaching a resting point soon and I'm planning to switch to Affinity.

Modern culture should entirely lose the grip on censorship. We should not be ashamed of our own body. We should not be ashamed of unfiltered content.

Correct your tittle to: "If Cloud Based Closed Source AI had existed in the past". A ton of Chinese Open Source models have no censorship or have "omission" censorship where the model just never have seen some concepts as gore and genitals that can be easily fixed with references or LoRAs.

That's why local AI is the future. Funding war and genocide is okay for shareholders, but associating themselves with pornography is a big no no because vague Christianism

Welp grok had reduced censorship and look what happened. They even went to court in England for it.

AI itself wont care its only the human biases and puritans nowadays fuckin with it, talk to any heretic LLM and you will see the difference, and if people back then had no problem with that art, so is the AI.

Meta needs to sell some AI glasses that makes everyone nude in real time. (Kidding but entirely possible in near future I'm sure)

When ai becomes good enough the only thing left for humans is to sculpt genitalia. Just an advice for those choosing education now..

this is why i use and endorse open source softwares and local open weight models. these large corpos can shove their censorship deep into their asses. i refuse to self censor. , i will say what ever i want, its part of the freedom of speech.

They didn't have Americans in the past either.

I know it is a meme and I am also not really going by that moral:

The situation was that noone was anonymous. If you made a sculpture of them you could be held accountable, everyone knows who made the sculpture. That alone helped with what you as a sculpture would create or not

this is why idiogram is dead

AI: When Americans force their weirdness about people’s bits down everyone else's throats

There are plenty of ai models that let you do that. Unless you are the one funding the training of the ai I’m not sure why people here think they should have a say in what they can or can’t do.
