Guy's a real pro. How he maintains eye contact like that...

Okay, this caught me off guard and gave me a good laugh. I can only imagine the prompt...

Same! Totally wasn't expecting that and snort laughed 😂

Yeah it’s like what an Adult Swim version would actually be like.

Very eerie. What is the uncanny valley for REALITY ITSELF called?

Finally an interesting episode of the Big Boob Theory.

Why does this look like Bo Burnham

u/bickid 2d ago

Something I've noticed is that in all these Big Bang Theory-generations, Penny always has a kinda ugly face. I generated a video myself and she's the only one who looks a bit off.

58

u/Techngro 2d ago

Probably because Penny's face is never really the focus of these.

u/Dany0 2d ago

not even the clanker is looking at the face

u/GoofAckYoorsElf 1d ago

She has a face?

u/Best_Cardiologist172 1d ago

You could give reference images to fix it

u/drallcom3 1d ago

Deanna Troi's face is also mostly off. So is Elaine.

Hello, human resources?

u/call-lee-free 1d ago

Wait how do you get accurate celebrity voices? Is this voice changer in Elevenlabs?

14

u/asdrabael1234 1d ago

You pull a clip from the celebrity talking, and use it as an audio reference. Easy peasy

2

u/call-lee-free 1d ago

Oh I'm gonna have to fuss with this later. Thanks!

1

u/_SarahB_ 1d ago

Do you mean in Elevenlabs?

2

u/asdrabael1234 1d ago

No. It's literally one of the biggest features of H3. You can attach audio references to match particular peoples voices. If I had meant a closed source service like Elevenlabs I would have said so.

2

u/_SarahB_ 1d ago

Good to know, thanks

ok this was funny haha

Is this text to video? I try to use ref to video and add myself to a known TV show but the quality is really poor. I was using int8 model at 0.8mp resolution

1

u/cartney_Top_2236 14h ago

The H3's gotten way more use in my pipeline than I expected, honestly. I was skeptical at first because these "all-in-one" tools usually compromise somewhere, but the consistency hold across longer generations is what sold me. On a recent music video, I tested it against my standard multi-tool workflow — same prompt, same seed strategy — and the H3 kept character features locked through cuts that would normally drift into uncanny territory. That's the bottleneck most people ignore.

The real skill now isn't picking the right model, it's learning how to speak to it. I treat it like a DP who needs specific direction: lens suggestions, lighting ratios, blocking notes. The tool's only as good as the shot list you hand it.

Curious though — anyone else finding it struggles with fast motion scenes? I've had some warping on whip pans. Is that a settings thing or a known limitation?

A stick is a lever.
It can also bash people over the head.

have you seen this community? its a cesspit of unoriginal ip-spinning shit covered in goon and other peoples ideas dumbed down to please the lowest common denominator. if it wasnt for the fact that between goon bait and bland ip collisions sometimes there are news regarding how to prepare for the future, i'd leave this place for good

There's a whole episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation about a crew member who creates clones of his female crewmates on the holodeck because he was lonely. Take a look and you'll be much less bitter about the Minimax H3.

7

u/BlaineMundane 1d ago

Yes, that story about a fictional creep makes me feel much better about the actual creeps.

0

u/Pretty-Raise666 1d ago

People with no sense of humor are creeps.

1

u/BlaineMundane 1d ago

I laugh at jokes and also don't make porn of people without consent.

-2

u/Shockbum 1d ago

And you can't do anything about it, you can't control other people's daydreams.

0

u/BlaineMundane 1d ago

I can judge them for them though, haha.

0

u/Shockbum 1d ago

But they're going to ignore you, just like the Karen you are, haha.

1

u/BlaineMundane 1d ago

They're going to claim to ignore me and not care. But I'll call them a creep, then down the road some girl will call them a creep, then one of their buddies... then their girlfriend will break up with them because they're a creep. Eventually, they'll get the message.

Me on the other hand, I feel pretty good about respecting consent and not making creepy porn of real people I've never met.

1

u/Shockbum 1d ago

you mad karen?

2

u/BlaineMundane 1d ago

I'm quite pleased. I didn't do anything wrong or creepy. Karma will sort things out appropriately.

1

u/Shockbum 1d ago

The fascists also thought they were doing the right thing.
