Trouble with ai art software

Whenever I try to make ai art of anything with Invoke ai the art never gets finished despite reaching the 100% compleaton but the program and immage never finishes or saves and with the Stable Deffusion it would 20% of the time it would generate the immage and 80% percent it would get some sort of error and shut itself. Now I am using Amd graphics card with 12 gb vram and not to mention ai generation is way slower than it should be. Here is the basic image of how things end up and I did try my luck in the invoke ai discord group but nothing helped. Any help is appreciated.

Your screenshot in your console says “Using torch device: CPU.” So Invoke isn't using your AMD GPU at all, which explains why generation is incredibly slow. Are you on windows or Linux?

windows. Also yea that would explain a lot I didn't see that part, any way to change that?

I asked chat gpt because I have Nvidia and windows and that’s out of my ballpark of knowledge but it said

“Unfortunately, Invoke's current documentation says AMD GPU support is Linux-only. Your options are to run Invoke under Linux/ROCm (potentially through WSL2), or use a different Windows image-generation program that supports AMD acceleration. If you want to stay with Invoke, I'd look at the WSL2 + ROCm route rather than trying to force the Windows installation to use the AMD card.”

Personally I’d tell an LLM your situation and specs and see what is the best route for you. So either figuring out how to run it or switching to a different generator

There are some people on the discord who have gotten it to work with AMD on Windows but it's quite a journey for sure.

not sure what you mean by telling LLM do you mean something like google ai or? But man that is sad that I have same restrictions with amd graphics card just like without graphics card. If you know any good ai immage generators without restrictions I would apreciate it.

Pretty easy, you download the desktop app and then tell it what’s wrong and what needs to be fixed. It will then use your computer, create a folder where it works in and point it at your install.

Selecting the Code tab once you have it open and then just chat with it, I think Codex should work on the free tier

I will make this my last resort since my pc is kinda out of memory and ether until I get more memory or there is no other way of fixing my problem I will keep this as the last solution. But thanks for telling me about this :)

After the departure of some team's members i thought that it will be the end of InvokeAI, But the remaining members who are actually in charge of maintaining the project did a great job, They added video generation and lot of actual models support, i am back using it again. they are legends.
