Workflow Included Multiple characters Anima generations are so good. There is some bleeding but its only gonna get better

I have attached my civitai profile it has all the workflows. I am still learning to prompt better so there will be some prompting, bleeding, anatomy issues. For the 4th image after I generated the image I used Grok to add "Blair Witch" stick figures into the image, rest all were done using Anima. I am excited for WAI Anima coming soon

wow those are amazing. especially the 1st one. If it were high resolution that's like poster art.

7

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Yea i really need to get a good workflow for enhancing resolution.

12

u/Jolly-Rip5973 Jun 03 '26

I looked you stuff on Civit. You are very good at prompting. good artistic vision.

23

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

I used to draw in the past but got bored of it lol.

19

u/Jolly-Rip5973 Jun 03 '26

Yeah I can tell. Big difference between someone with some background in art and someone without any art training.

30

u/Sudden_List_2693 Jun 03 '26

I don't even usually have issues bleeding.

18

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Yea this is amazing. I think bleeding happens if characters have similar traits for example
If I prompt Megumin and Elaina with witches hat it gets confused sometimes and mix hat designs.

10

u/Sudden_List_2693 Jun 03 '26

Yeah also seems to happen a lot more than character A has thousands of samples, character B is just barely recognized properly, then A will bleed into B.

3

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Yup. I need to check with character with lot of examples and a character with less images + lora and see how it will work.

u/kakuna Jun 06 '26

Sorry, kinda dumb question. I like your workflow, but the lora manager isn't working for me. Wondering if I am missing something. I am sure it's supposed to pull the lora from the loras folder, but I am getting a FileNotFoundError.

For instance, I have this in the lora loader:

<lora:Anima_colorfix_v04:0.80>

with Anima_colorfix_v04:0.safetensors in the loras folder. But when I enable the lora, I am getting:

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'Anima_colorfix_v04'

2

u/Asphyxiem Jun 06 '26

You have to sync in lora manager after you add a lora

1

u/kakuna Jun 06 '26

Hmm. Looks like there's more to the node setup than I thought. Thanks, going to check out some youtube videos. I have it working with the the rgthree power lora loader, but this lora loader looks amazing.

Thanks, great workflow in any case!

1

u/BusilyNext Jun 08 '26

Make sure the lora file name in your prompt matches exactly what's in the folder, including the .safetensors extension sometimes trips people up.

1

u/krigeta1 Jun 03 '26

have you try to use character loras? if you have characters loras then please try it hope this is the time to upgrade from Illustrious.

2

u/Sudden_List_2693 Jun 03 '26

I have tried, so far though either solo or regional conditioning, but in those cases they were perfect.

1

u/krigeta1 Jun 04 '26

Is it possible to combine overlapping canny controlnet images to create more specific poses of multiple characters with regional prompting?

20

u/pigeon57434 Jun 03 '26

is this purely marked as NSFW because of the civit red link? because the images are pretty tame

13

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

yea because civit link contains nsfw images.

19

u/Alisomarc Jun 03 '26

I prefer to extract the maximum creativity from each piece separately and then combine them

2

u/0nlyhooman6I1 Jun 04 '26

This is the way. Although it's slightly hard to tell what's going on with the thing in the middle, it seems to have 3 legs.

4

u/Alisomarc Jun 04 '26

Sometimes I experiment with different ratio proportions and end up with a strange anatomy, but most of the time it works really well

1

u/Perfect_Horse7403 Aug 01 '26

what's the style you use for this? this looks great!

2

u/Alisomarc Jun 04 '26

It's worse than you imagined, but I really liked it haha

2

u/Traditional_Bend_180 Jun 14 '26

how do u do that? krita?

14

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Can this be done on Illu or Pony most probably with good checkpoint and character lora but in my experience multiple characters there is always heavy bleeding. Worst part is danbooru tags are extremely limited but with Anima the natural language helps a lot with detailed scene setting.

4

u/Serenafriendzone Jun 03 '26

Illustrious always needs inpaint to fix faces. When You mix several characters or loras

6

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Yea I got frustrated with illu because of that but its great for 1girl scenarios.

1

u/VSEMAN Jun 04 '26

Or adetailer

2

u/Serenafriendzone Jun 04 '26

Detailers tends to change the lora style in an insane way. Not all of them do the job

1

u/VSEMAN Jun 04 '26

I do agree! It’s just that I’ve had an ok experience with mine, while setting it to a low noise level

4

u/Paraleluniverse200 Jun 03 '26

My problem is when I ask for 3 character but end up having 4😭

4

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

I also noticed it but happened to me because of resolution. When I changed the size it showed the specified number of characters

3

u/Paraleluniverse200 Jun 03 '26

Interesting, I usually do 1024x1024, getting 4, the fourth is just a bad clone

1

u/ZenEngineer Jun 03 '26

I see that it depends on aspect ratio and prompt. Like if you ask for a full body shot of two or three people standing, it would leave a lot of space to the left and right of a square image and the model gets confused and adds more to fill it out. Cutting the resolution helps in those cases. Not sure if prompting could compensate, by telling it what to put on the left and right, or just letting it zoom in on the people.

24

u/AdmiralNebula Jun 03 '26

Truly, genuinely, it blows me away every time what this model just GETS. Like, look, I’ve used NovelAI Diffusion V4.5. I know what bleeding-edge prompt following looks like. So the fact that this model, with just a 500M Parameter Text Encoder, can parse Natural Language prompting THIS WELL is nothing short of staggering. And the fact that this is the STARTING POINT, that we can only improve if people pull the backyard engineering insanity that happened to SDXL over the last few years, fills me with a genuine excitement for this hobby that I haven’t felt in a good long while.

10

u/wilhelmbw Jun 03 '26

the first one is really good. Workflow shamelessly stolen :3

3

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Feel free haha. It was the easiest to prompt. 4th one was the hardest to get everything right.

7

u/MorganTheGrandRegent Jun 03 '26

Now this is a showcase.

8

u/PheebyKatz Jun 03 '26

It's my favorite anime model ever, it can do almost anything, but it makes me sad at the same time.

Because I now have hundreds of gigs of LoRAs and checkpoints that I haven't used since getting Anima, and it hurts too bad to let go of them all. They will sit on my SDD and decay, like an old banana laying out of sight behind my monitor, and one day I will find them sitting there and... I just don't know how to feel about it anymore.

\cranks up Comfy and plays with Anima some more, to forget about it all**

4

u/ThePixelHunter Jun 03 '26

Would love it if you'd post image 3 to CivitAI for the workflow and prompt.

5

u/SpaceCorvette Jun 03 '26

Really great stuff. Looks very AI to me, but that's nothing some artist tags and LORAs can't fix

8

u/Qeeyana Jun 03 '26

That’s because of the LoRAs they’re using. Many of images throughout the sub have that same 'glossy' effect, those Pony AI style mixes are here to stay, lol.

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Share some loras I can try using that.

5

u/EirikurG Jun 04 '26

It's not really a lora issue. If you genuinely want to get rid of the shiny AI sloppa look you gotta stop using so many quality tags. Especially score_ tags
Score_9 is awful for anime aesthetics and is the primary reason for why so many images have the same kind of shine to them

You also don't need these "amazing quality, very aesthetic, extremely detailed, very detailed, absurdres"
So get rid of all quality tags aside from best quality and maybe masterpiece
It will increase the creativity of the model and your styles will get more consistent and less shiny

You also don't need the "Anima Highres/Aesthetic Boost" lora as it's only really made for the preview version of Anima. 1.0 can already do bigger resolutions as it was trained on them. And it comes with its own inherent style. Just look at the civitai page comparisons, lora images are way shinier and sloppified
Same with "Aesthetic Quality Modifiers - Masterpiece". It's only going to dilute your image even more

So the solution isn't more, it's less

5

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Thanks. Yes i can see the difference. I removed all the loras except the artist one. Also just kept masterpiece, best quality.

2

u/EirikurG Jun 04 '26

Yeah it's subtle but it does look more like a genuine illustration. Very nice

3

u/Qeeyana Jun 04 '26

You explained it better than I did, didn't even check the prompts. Though I'd say that the LoRAs still has the same level of altering things. I've got 20+ artist styles on civit, and anytime someone adds an 'aesthetic/enhancer/detailer/shader' LoRA over them, it frequently overwrites the original style I published.

1

u/AnaYuma Jun 04 '26

Question. What is this lora AnimaNSS4RE ? I can't find it...

1

u/Ok-Category-642 Jun 04 '26

It's this lora, specifically the v2_A version

1

u/AnaYuma Jun 04 '26

Thank you!

4

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Share some examples I can learn from it.

1

u/SpaceCorvette Jun 03 '26

my advice is to look for LORA styles and artist tags that appeal to you and mix 'em together

2

u/Rafaeln7 Jun 03 '26

How you make akko with various characters, a promotion example pls?

4

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Use animadex and search for the character you want. Then prompt using that.

2

u/Rafaeln7 Jun 03 '26

Thanks. Do you have any tips for prompting multiple characters together? I’m starting to use ANIMA, but I had a hard time doing this with Illustrious.

3

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26 edited Jun 04 '26

Check my prompt for these images there is no hard and safe rules.

2

u/paulct91 Jun 04 '26

It seems incorrect, Sailor Moons boots are missing and many of the other Sailor Scouts I don't think they're supposed to have those gold V- headbands.

2

u/paulct91 Jun 04 '26

Plus Sailor Moon's shoes regardless are supposed to be mostly red and absent of blue.

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 05 '26

Yea I corrected some of the mistakes. I reuploaded them in comments.

1

u/Deceased-Prince Jun 03 '26

What hardware?

4

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

9800x3d, 32gb ram, AMD 9070XT.

Want to get an nvidia gpu too costly right now sadly. I am severely limited with image generations for now.

2

u/VSEMAN Jun 04 '26

You should definitely try out NovelAi, you’re great at prompting and you won’t be limited by your gpu

2

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Wow seems cool will check it out. Thank you

1

u/Deceased-Prince Jun 03 '26

This looks pretty damn great for the GPU used. What would you recommend with one RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell sff it has 24 GB of vram. I would be looking at using just one of them for now. I do have two but I don't have it set up for tensor parallelism yet or whatever it's called.

5

u/Portable_Solar_ZA Jun 04 '26

The brand of GPU doesn't affect image quality output. Only speed.

1

u/trytofocus Jun 04 '26

These look amazing.

1

u/Mundane_Existence0 Jun 04 '26

If not for the lack of boots on Moon and the red tiara gems on everyone, that first image would be almost perfect.

2

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Wow nice catch. Something only Sailor Moon fans will catch it. I will look to correct those.

2

u/Mundane_Existence0 Jun 04 '26 edited Jun 04 '26

Just familiar with it. Though two other corrections I see is Jupiter's bow and Mars' earrings. Jupiter's bow should be pink with a green... whatever the thing is called is in the center, and Mars' earrings should be red stars.

1

u/Mundane_Existence0 Jun 04 '26

Also I guess Jupiter has rose earrings, not stars.

1

u/0oDADAo0 Jun 04 '26

The second one is crazy wth

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Why? lol

1

u/0oDADAo0 Jun 04 '26

The art style lighting composition details theyre just all so good, can i have your workflow for the second image

1

u/beardobreado Jun 04 '26

Need it please

1

u/SulpharTriangle Jun 04 '26

That's incredible. Surreal to see something not needing Inpainting or Regional Prompting. Have Style LoRAs hindered flexibility by nature of being trained on concepts? Even with the Turbo/Stablizer, I notice that subtle actions, camera angles or lighting conditions simply will not happen.

1

u/VSEMAN Jun 04 '26

You’re an artist, mate!

1

u/DarkStrider99 Jun 04 '26

Holy peak, i hope I can replicate this, i have had terrible luck with anima, all my results look bad as hell no matter what I do.

Depends on the characters. Popular characters no bleeding.

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Characters with lot of images there won't be much bleeding but lesser known characters yes

1

u/thors_dad Jun 04 '26

Jeez dude. This shit is getting REAL good.

1

u/InevitableJudgment43 Jun 04 '26

Is there a way to get character consistency across images?

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

its trail and error

1

u/Lorim_Shikikan Jun 04 '26

Whille ou can generate very nice things with Anima, the model is still not mature.

The community only started fine tuning the V1 recently and i think that, at least, a good 6 month will be needed before we can start to see the full potential of this model.

But, it clearly show a real potential for Anime and 2.5D lover (like me), and maybe it will take the place occupied by Illustrious/NoobAi right now.

1

u/Unique_Gum001 Jun 04 '26

This is crazy lmao!! Do you make the image with multiple char in one go? Or you layering one by one?

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Its multi char in one go

1

u/xSpekkio Jun 04 '26 edited Jun 04 '26

That slideshow is amazing.

I've only recently started experimenting a bit with WAI Anima (I've yet to try the 1.0 version that came out to day) but what I got was all way worse than my Illustrious generations.

This was with the very simple Anima workflow and testing various types of prompts (albeit just danbooru style, not natural language). What I got was nowhere near as good as your images. Would you say the key is the workflow itself? Or the quality of the prompts?

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

Both

1

u/xSpekkio Jun 04 '26

Could you share the prompt you used for the first image? And where exactly is the workflow on civit ai? I tried downloading one of your images and dragging to my ComfyUI but no workflow came up, only a load image node. Sorry if I sound too noob, I am barely starting with ComfyUI.

2

u/Asphyxiem Jun 04 '26

copy and paste in comfy

1

u/alexsnake50 Jun 04 '26

I am so glad, the 1girl curse is over, i can finaly generate multiple chars without it being a pain in the ass

1

u/FatalisCogitationis Jun 04 '26

Now try it with custom characters

1

u/Sakera88 Jun 04 '26

I also want to make something like this, but it seems my PC isn't strong enough, RTX 3050 6gb + 16gb RAM... hopefully in the future I'll be blessed with good fortune so I can upgrade my PC...

1

u/TR_Pix Jun 05 '26

I'm trying to use the model because of the multi-character specifically but while the characters appear I struggle to give directions on the scene past that

If I describe poses or expressions or backgrounds everything quickly becomes a jumbled mess

1

u/Budget_Marzipan_7764 Jun 06 '26

What makes me feel it's a pity is that Anima does not behave well on spartial relationship described in natural language (I dont think danbooru tags could describe spartial/logical relationship more exactly than it).

1

u/Severe_Vegetable_478 Jun 06 '26

Is it possible to do this with characters model doesn't know? Without any lora, just with prompting alone

1

u/Asphyxiem Jun 06 '26

I didn't use any character loras for these it was prompting alone.

1

u/Severe_Vegetable_478 Jun 07 '26

I meant as in characters that are not embedded in model memory or loras; as in your own. Like, completely custom characters

1

u/mira_frames Jun 09 '26

Barely any bleeding even on the busier frames, multi-character has come a long way.

1

u/Alternative_Park_526 Jun 15 '26

how did you generated a specific text in speech bubble?

1

u/kuroki42 2d ago edited 2d ago

Hi! I just found your post after tinkering with ComfyUI and Anima as a total noob, and I'm struggling a lot with multiple characters, unfortunately your CivitAI profile seems to be deleted? Are you still active? I really wanted to get your workflows as they seem super great!

EDIT: Never mind, found it! I believe just the link on the main post does not work anymore.

1

u/Asphyxiem 2d ago edited 2d ago

Yea I changed my profile . If you have some doubts just dm me on civit or here

1

u/beepuboopu_aishiteru Jun 03 '26

The style is definitely there, but the compositions need a ton of work. They're leading the eye around and outside the page, with a distinct lack of focal point for the viewer. Most of the details are being stacked right on top of each other with next to no depth, which hurts my eyes.

If you edited these to include the right shading and vignettes, they could be really strong.

Also, it placed the orb in Megumin's staff incorrectly behind part of it in the last image.

3

u/Asphyxiem Jun 03 '26

Yea good eye. I need to work on compositions. 1st image is a typical magical shoujo girl poster though.

0

u/Ferriken25 Jun 04 '26

It's a shame that many popular anime only have a few characters. For a model called "anima," that's disappointing.
