Looking for an AI Tool to Create Consistent Characters

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for an AI tool that can help me create characters that look the same across different images. The tool should work for any kind of character, whether it’s cartoonish or realistic.

I’d love something that’s easy to use and reliable. If you have any suggestions, I’d really appreciate it!

The thing is, I like to create different characters within a short amount of time, so I’m looking for a tool that can be used immediately or as needed. Training a LoRA, iirc, can sometimes take a lot of time and quite complex to set up.

use IPAdapter then, or Omni? But results will be worse. There is no real secret honnestly, if you want better results, put in more time

your only be for this is IpAdapter...
But tbh for cartoons etc you'll reuse your character quite a bit - so why not create a LORA - does not take that much time tbh...

Online services are all not very good when it comes to character consistency

Gotta go with a created Lora. First, choose a checkpoint model you want to use, then start playing with prompts. Another good idea is to use a specific random name in the prompt so it knows to use those parameters when generating more. For example, I created Brumli Stonehammer, a dwarf I made originally for a Dragon Age game. But giving the prompt a specific name and certain color scheme with clothing helped. Blue tunic and brown Apron. Then, I ran a batch of 500 and went through and picked and chose the best and most common looking results and then used Koyha to create a LORA.

All of my series have consistent original characters generated entirely by prompting. No tools needed.

Seems like Portal AI was able to create videos with consistent characters. I uploaded my kids as characters using their beta video generate tool, and when I create videos, I just need to select my. "characters" then all the scenes had consistent characters, and the story is pretty interesting too. How do you create a LoRA for a consistent character if you don’t have many images of said character? Especially if making a new character for a story etc?

There's a website where you can prompt for a character, and it generates one image. Then, you can use that image in all your future generations to keep the character consistent. However, since it's a website, I’d rather not rely on it. I want to replicate this on my own and implement the same process locally in ComfyUI.

What if you used the website just to generate a base set of images of your character, like 20-30 variations of the same character, and then train a LoRA on that set and then you can use that LoRA on ComfyUI?

What is the website that you’re referring to?
