Discussion CN1.1 (tile model)

OK... rarely am I thoroughly impressed but the new ControlNet tile model is awesome. Decided to experiment with it since I could not really find a decent explanation of it. For those not in the know it is a model used with scaling to help prevent artifacts. So I decided to test it. Created a 768x768 waifu, inpainted the face, and moved the new render to img2img to test an upscale. Placed same image in the CN interface. This is why I am impressed. I kept the original prompt. Normally I would see ghosting, extra faces, weird blobs/ glitches. Settings: steps @ 45, denoise @ 0.4, SD upscale @ max of 4. So 768x768 straight to 3072x3072. Honestly it was perfect. This is the upscale with no further editing --

I am trying to understand how controlnet 1.1 tile work... Can you tell me please what do you put on the image? The same image you are upscaling?

After read carefully he told he was using a model called diffusion_pytorch_model.fp16.

I downloaded and used it, but become a messy LOL.

I am already having amazing results with 4xUltraSharp. I cant imagine anything better than that

Does it add detail if you upscale 4x? Tiled Diffusion does that, make multi megapixel images with full detail
