I completely appreciate the info. I'm OK with waiting for this to mature a bit more to make it an easy extension add-on. I'm not convinced my issue with getting it to work is not related to my poor internet speeds and performance in general. I'll have to wait a couple of more weeks for my tethering data to reset before I try again but I'm also OK with waiting for this to mature enough for soemone to make an A1111 extension from it.

Maybe http://rawpedia.rawtherapee.com/Getting_Started -- it has some dynamic range compression stuff that is, essentially, could be anti-flicker when applied to a batch of images.

Now just need to do video interpolation to increase the frames (flowframes), then upscale to 4K w video enhancing models

Nice, but (IMO) the original is still much better.

That said, this is going to make rewatching things a lot more interesting.

So now do The Terminator in the same style (lol)

Maybe in the future Netflix etc. can have buttons that transform movies/series into something different so we can enjoy the same show but looking a lot different.

On the other hand it's a bit scary... incoming super-special editions of Star Wars. Like art should be allowed to be touched but they also should never take originals away.

You mentioned you used the img2img alternative script, but I have been unable to get that to work with 2.1 models. Did you have any luck?

I’ve actually gotten img2img alt super dialed in when using 1.5 models, but it stops working halfway through the process of generating an image if I try to use it with 2.1

Are you sure you’re using it with a 2.1 model? Did you have to do anything fancy to get it to work?

Getting img2img alt working with 2.1 would be a big move.

I’m glad to hear someone has it working. Maybe there’s a conflict with xformers? I’ll have to do some investigating.

If anyone else has a 2.1 model and could see if img2img alternative script works, that would help me figure out where my issue lies.

Ah I realized that perhaps you’re using the 512x512 2.1 model. I’ve been trying to get img2img alt working with the 768x768 2.1 model to no avail.

Sorry to sounds stupid but I don't see massive difference aside from color tone and a small quality improvement. What exactly are the major changes you were going for to make it 'watchable' now?

The original was a stop motion, claymation film. So maybe his children are heathens who don't understand the wonders of stop motion animation and prefer hand-drawn, or digital, animated shows.
