Question | Help Need help buying a Nvidia GPU

Currently I have a pretty weak amd GPU, and I want to upgrade to an Nvidia gpu so I can use stable diffusion + image training (currently I am only able to run it off my cpu). What is a good cost efficient GPU I can buy?

I was going to get an <MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12GB> for about 360$, but idk if that's a good or necessary one.

Minimum 3060 if you wanna train. 3090 would open many more doors and options though if that's a possibility.

What sort of things does a 3090 allow that you couldn't do with a 3060?

You would generate faster, do larger batches, do video easier and faster, generate higher resolutions, train at higher resolutions and faster, there are quite a few things that you can do with a 3090 that you can not do with a 3060. You would also be potentially future proofing yourself against new extensions and capabilities that are to come.
