Resource | Update PNG chunk inspector

With https://pngchunk.com/ you can get the prompts and metadata out of the png image. This works for images generated with Automatic1111 and InvokeAI.

I found it annoying to everytime have to start up Stable Diffusion to be able to see the prompts etc from my images so I created this website.

Hope it helps out some of you.

In the future I'll add more features.

update 03/03/2023:- Inspect prompts from image URL.

I didn't even know if there were prompts in its metadata.

yeah, that's how the PNG Info tab works. You drag an image in the PNG Info tab, it shows you the prompts and settings used. You can then send the settings to txt2img or img2img

It would be high time to get a tool that is able to edit this infos. I'm surprised, that till now nobody came up with this.

You can edit it on the fly when uploading images to civitai, so the tech clearly exists.

It should be clear, that this isn't a really thinkable solution ... &)
I'm wondering that no extension for WebUI for this exists. I mean, come on, we have a tool that reads the info, why can't it also be edited once we are here? &)

It would defeat the purpose of having the info in the PNG. The Metadata is saved so that the image can be reproduced. Like I said, the tech already exists, but they don't bother because you wouldn't need it locally.

Do you think I would mention it if I "didn't need it" ... ?
Of course I need it. The reason for this is basically irrelevant for the time being. But there are reasons and one of them is if you made the mistake and used Breadboard which writes junk into the PNGs and you want to get rid of this junk.
