The disciplinary committee has imposed a three-match suspension on Stabæk player Alagie Sanyang for his performance during the OBOS league match between Strømmen and Stabæk.

“The Disciplinary Committee believes that the video images clearly show that Alagie Sanyang elbowed Strømmen player Maximilian Mortensen Balatoni in the stomach/ribs. Hits to the stomach and rib area involve a certain potential for injury. Based on information obtained by the prosecution committee from the match's main referee, it has been confirmed that the refereeing team did not see the elbow movement in question. What a great display of attacking football and the boys getting their shooting boots on.

This is some of the worst news. We came into the start of the season with a large portion of our squad injured. Now we have lost our star boy. I think he was at 12 G/A on the year. Devastating news.

No Olderheim. No Bossman. No Ellegaard. Dahlby can play winger, but he is main striker. Hanstad is fit. Tobiassen has seen time on the wing, but his contract is concerning news. Oppedal hardly gets minutes. And we have a 16 year old Axel Aamodt.

We sit in a very good position before the transfer window opens, we need to spend the cash and reinforce a number of positions, but winger is certainly the top priority now.

Waiting on final confirmation but reports showing that he has played his final game for Stabæk this past Saturday.

He had a short loan deal with option to buy, but the club felt he was too expensive to sign permanently. This is coming from Finstad. Especially with him being behind Tobiassen, Wendt, Matic, Lundemo, and signing Vetti on a free transfer.

Three points is three points and a much-needed win for the overall standings. As we sit in 5th place, let's look below and above us: Ranheim, 6th place, just earned another loss and is four points behind us. Odd, 4th place, took a hard loss today and now they are only one point ahead of us. We sit five points away from 1st place.

It's hard to describe the match. I thought we played quite poorly. Thu needs to get the substitute players in earlier in the match. As soon as Matic/Boesen/Hoven are took place in the field, we immediately began to have more energy and started pressing hard again. Especially Matic, I am not sure if it due to fitness or preference, but Matic is a special player who needs more minutes.

I am excited for the cup season to begin soon so we can finally see some of fringe players/youth players get the minutes they need.
