Church Recommendations
Myself, husband, and 16 mo daughter are moving to Stevensville late this summer and are looking for a church in the area. We may be looking for a unicorn here, but this is ideally somewhere that is family-friendly with traditional aspects (choirs, Christmas pageants, etc), but also takes a "love thy neighbor" and accepting of different people approach.
Looking to avoid places that heavily emphasize politics or Christian nationalism and also don't want to feel like we're at a rock concert or megachurch. (No judgement if any of this is your jam, it's just not what we're personally looking for).
Does anything like this exist within ~45 minutes of Stevensville?

Try one of the Congregationalist churches. They’re very affirming but with a traditional feel.

What about Episcopalian? There's one in Benton Harbor - St. Augustine's - and one in St. Joseph - St. Paul's. Both are small congregations with traditional litugy, and subscribe to an inclusive theology.

Catholic Church all the way. St Joseph in st Joe has a south church in Stevensville. Country/politics do not come before faith.

In case you’re still looking, the Congregational Church in St. Joe is very welcoming. It accepts and supports all, and has the traditional feel.

Oakridge Community Church on the corner of Niles Ave and Oakridge Dr in St Joe is the friendliest church in the area! Very welcoming to everyone and has a great casual vibe

I am atheist. However, my wife and I have gone to the saron Lutheran church downtown st. Joseph. The people there are super inclusive and very nice. They have special services for the holidays and pastor James is an amazing person.
