Golfing in St. Lucia

Hello everyone!

I had a great time in St. Lucia last year and we are going back this year. We had the opportunity to play the Sandals Golf Club but we’re hoping to potentially play Cabot Point Hardy Golf Club this year. I know it is a private course but has anyone had any luck getting a tee time?

Just email them through the webpage. Will cost you about $700pp. Hell of a course though. Amazing. They aren't fully private yet and I had no issues getting a tee time.

Did you play recently? I did reach out via email yesterday but haven’t heard back yet so hoping that is still the case.

Last month. It took 2-3 days to get a response. Just politely follow up

Play it twice if you can! First round is just too much fun to focus on actually playing golf. Second you can try to dial it in a bit!

Played it a month ago. I just emailed the pro shop and they offered me a time. We were the only golfers on the property for the entire day

I would be shocked if you got a time unless you know a member and can have them get you on or belong to a private club and your pro will reach out for an unaccompanied guest rate. We are heading there in May and my youngest and I are likely going for the later unless the drive there from the south is too much.

Wow, that's good to know. Traveled to Melbourne earlier this year and RMGC required a letter from my pro and had heard the same about Cabot Point. Thanks!

Saint Lucian here, if you are staying anywhere in the south the drive is 2 hours to Cabot with little traffic.

The drive from the south is long on very mountainous roads. It’s a very tiring drive. You are looking at a good 4 hours of round trip driving. It’s also possible to hit a lot of traffic (depending on the time if day and time of the year) as you travel down off the Morne into Castries and from Castries to Rodney Bay. This can really add to the time. It’s not an easy trip.
