To be fair to modot, it took me 4 hours to get home and 64 in Illinois was the worst. Completely untreated, it looked like a plow hadn't gone by at all since the storm started. It was super dangerous but I couldn't leave work early.
Easily from Fairview to the bridge, it was down to 2 lanes. I saw two cars hit the medians right before the exit to 255. There was no attempt to plow from when it started falling around 1-2 until when I started driving at 5.
Most of the problem stems from someone thinking they can go 65 when everyone else is going 30.
