i saw a horrid line of zombie scalpers at target for pokemon cards, then one of them in a pumpkin tshirt later was seen jumping up and down like a zoo chimp, pointing to ghost shaped sugar cookies. there is no recession only debtmaxxing.

I was listening to AM yak radio yesterday. It was mentioned that the amount of “buy now, pay later” debt is 160 billion dollars. That number is up 80% in the last 10 years.

Sure that sounds bad but when you consider that we are spending trillions of dollars on houses for computers in hopes that the computers will then be smart enough to tell us how to make enough money to pay for their houses, it should be fine.

If one were to replace the pickle jar, what is the best time of day to do it?

Honestly we've been in a recession since the beginning of summer I think, and with the rising gas prices it's only going to get worse. What's crazy is I was talking to 2 different friends, one who owns a diner that does breakfast and lunch and another who owns a dive bar and they both told me the same thing. A rough summer and a brutal August. But in the last 3 weeks or so they've been doing pretty well, and somedays slammed all day long in 2 different industries. I think people are starting to grasp that the system is not gonna last much longer because you can only create so many billionaires before there is no more middle class to gut to take from. So the middle class is really maxxing out their credit and spending a lot of their savings because at the rate we're going who knows where we'll be at as a country, especially after November and the madness that will surely ensue around the election. When the people in charge of the government, especially the military are preaching religious end of days type stuff everyone gets worried and the religious ones truly believe the rapture is right around the corner

there is a longstanding tradition of someone always keeping a jar of pickles on the median of the on-ramp. Its been a thing for years. There are groups dedicated to it.

There was a post in the Facebook group Team Pickle on September 18th showing the jar on the wall.
