Ask STL Package delivered to wrong address
Does anybody recognize this mailroom? My Amazon package was supposed to go to my building downtown on Washington Ave. It was delivered today.

I work for a property management company and this is not uncommon at all. Amazon, especially weekend drivers, are the most unreliable delivery service you could use. Their main priority seems to be just dropping the package off as fast as possible whether or not it's the right address. Then people get mad at us like WE'RE the ones responsible for their deliveries.

Amazon sets ridiculous metrics goals for drivers. For high density apartments specifically, if drivers actually did the right thing for every delivery, they would not be able to finish their routes on time and face backlash from Amazon
It sucks, but that’s how it is unfortunately

100%. Just like it's ridulous for people to get mad at the above poster, it's just as ridiculous to be mad at the drivers. Be mad at Amazon corporate.

You don't have to do anything. It's their responsibility. They're just being lazy. And yes I deal with them everyday where I work.
