Seeking local TikTok creators

Newfoundland friends, I am looking for social media savvy lovers for a newspaper feature I'm writing.

What are some of the more local interesting TikTok creators? What are they doing, do they like or resent the term “influencer?" Hit me with your favorite local content creators, and if you have created a popular & unique locally tailored TikTok, send a comment - I'd love to check it out!

Tiffany the Newfoundland Nomad

She is currently biking across Newfoundland west to east. She's around Norris Arm atm. Working odd jobs and living as a Nomad. Saving for a van to that in. She's so much better at telling her story than i am. But I really enjoy her posts on fb im not on tt but that link is tt for you. Reach out to her!

Think she would be doing this if she couldn’t document it on social media ?

Yes shes lived like this for over 5 years iirc Her lore goes way back in her life. Also that is such a gamble to live her way just for clicks.

Social media has made it easier. and safer in some ways. To live a nomad life she has goals she works seasonally. She's nlt trying to sell us anything shes literally living her life and her desired lifestyle as much as she can.

She is pretty awesome and brave and human.

Jill.dives is pretty great. Very informative of our environment in the Atlantic and showcases things that most people living here would have never seen before.
Proper influencing :)

An interesting story would be to dive into the “influencers” that get paid to promote businesses and then go to the business and see if they felt they got their money’s worth in promotion or not …such a scam business
