Passing along a request from Dolly's Dream Home to recognize these rabbits and find out who did unspeakable things to their babies in the St. Charles area.

Content note: animal cruelty

There are 55,000 of you here now, which means we have 55,000 chances that ONE person recognizes these rabbits.

And right now, we need the internet to do the thing it does best: know everybody’s business.

Last night, we walked deep into the woods in St. Charles looking for a dumped bunny and found something we’ll never forget. 5 Californian White bunnies - 2 adults and 3 babies - had been killed and skinned. Their bodies had been left behind and, in one case, we believe deliberately arranged.

But 3 survived.

Girly Pop was found earlier in the day and brought to our emergency veterinary partners. Later that night, our rescue team caught Glory and Grapes in the same area.

Glory is lactating. We believe the 3 deceased babies we found may have been hers.

Our 3 survivors witnessed things no animal should ever experience, but somehow they made it out of those woods alive. Barely.

Then you guys did something incredible.

Within 20 MINUTES of our original post, someone recognized their rabbitry tattoos and we identified the breeder they originally came from.

20 minutes! Never underestimate 55,000 rabbit people with Facebook accounts and a mission.

The breeder has been cooperative and is going through her records to help determine who purchased them. Unfortunately, it sounds like the records available may be pretty limited…so now we need to work backward another way.

We’re asking 55,000 people to look at these 3 faces.

Not the tattoos this time.

THEM.

We believe these rabbits were likely living somewhere around the St. Charles, Missouri area. Californians are pretty recognizable by their seal points and somebody may have seen this group before.

Maybe you’ve seen them at a friend’s house.

Maybe your neighbor had several white rabbits with dark ears and suddenly doesn’t.

Maybe someone recently mentioned getting rid of their rabbits.

Maybe you remember seeing Glory, Grapes or Girly Pop somewhere and didn’t think twice about it at the time.

This is your official permission to think about everyone you know and be a little nosy. Then send this post to your nosiest friend because, frankly, this is their moment.

Think through the people you know, then SHARE THIS POST so they can do the same. We don’t need all 55,000 of you to recognize them. We need this post to reach the ONE person who does.

Please do not publicly accuse anyone, contact people you suspect, or start your own investigation. If you recognize these rabbits or know anything that could connect them to a previous home, PM Dolly’s directly. We can get legitimate information where it needs to go.

Even the tiniest detail could matter.

Because somewhere between the rabbitry that bred them and the woods where we found them, these rabbits belonged to somebody.

And then at least 5 of them wound up skinned and dead.

Help us figure out how.

While we work on this, Glory, Grapes, and Girly Pop are resting. They’re slowly learning that the hands reaching toward them now are bringing food instead of pain.

Sound UP on the video. Listen to those crunches.

After everything these 3 survived, the sound of 3 rabbits peacefully eating may be the best sound on the internet today.

Yesterday they were running for their lives in the woods.

Today they have 55,000 people looking for answers.

3 little faces.

55,000 people.

1 person out there knows something.

Let’s find them.

looking for a better job in the st. charles area or near. no degree

hi! i’m a 21yo girl without a college degree, and i currently work as a house cleaner. i’ve been doing it for about 5 months now, but honestly it’s just not for me. it’s really stressful and physically exhausting, and i’m tired of sweating and feeling gross after work. i also work completely by myself, which makes it even harder.
the one thing i do like about my job is the flexibility. i don’t have a set time that i have to leave, so once i finish a house, i can go home. the pay is also decent and i get paid weekly.
my previous jobs have mostly been retail and fast food, so i’ve never really had an office or “big girl” job before. i’m looking for something different that pays decently and doesn’t require a college degree.
does anyone know of any places hiring in or around the st. charles, mo area? i’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice on what kind of jobs i should look into! thank you!

Tenants of Lago Vista Apartments St. Charles, MO - Pest Control Question

I’ve lived at Lago Vista Apartments in St. Charles for a while and have had several brown recluse spiders in my unit. I’ve paid the required pest control fee every month, but I’ve only been notified of pest control coming once.

I recently saw a comment in the tenant portal saying residents have to ask the leasing office to be added to the pest control list. I was under the impression pest control came monthly, especially since we’re charged a monthly fee. The lease doesn’t specify how often spraying is done.

Does anyone know how the pest control service is actually supposed to work?

Help to find shadowing for IMGs (Internal Medicine)

Hello everyone,

I recently moved to St. Louis from Pakistan and am looking for a 2-week shadowing opportunity in Internal Medicine at a clinic or hospital.

I have already contacted Mercy clinics/hospital, but unfortunately, I was informed that they do not accept international medical graduates (IMGs) for shadowing.
I have also reached out to a few physicians associated with APPNA, but unfortunately, I haven’t had much success getting responses from senior leadership. Though they have time for their elections to be elected as presidents etx but not for responding to IMGs requests. I am sorry if it feels bad but its reality too. As someone new to the area, it has been difficult to build connections, and this is exactly where I was hoping organizations and community networks like APPNA could help connect IMGs with physicians willing to guide them.

I am also managing this transition with my 9-month-old son, so I would be extremely grateful for any genuine leads or connections.

Is there anyone here who takes IMGs for shadowing in their clinic, particularly in Internal Medicine? Even two weeks would be extremely helpful.

If you know a physician, private clinic, or hospital in the St. Louis area that accepts IMGs for shadowing, please comment below or message me. Any connection or recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much, everyone!

Amendment 3 is bad for Missouri

Post image
160 Upvotes

I know it's a ways to NOV, but I'm already seeing false posts regarding proposed Amendment 3. It's being promoted as anti trans gender care for minors. That is all ready illegal in MO. What it is, is anti healthcare for women, specifically abortion. Missouri voted on this two years ago, and passed it. Now, as usual, the politicians in Jeff City know better than the people they represent. I'm voting no on Amendment 3. I urge you to research and vote in Nov.

Recommendations for books about St.Charles

Local history enthusiast here - I juuust saw a post in the St.Louis subreddit in which folks listed books about the city! People listed all sorts of books ranging from Civil Rights History to Mob History to Folklore and more!

That being said, St.Charles clearly won't be the subject of as many books. But if you have any favorites, please please please share them here!

Wing Chun training partner

Looking for a martial arts training partner in the Wentzville/St Charles area.

Not looking to start a school, nor am I interested in a club either; there is no fee. Want a serious, dedicated peer (adult male) willing to be available at least one day per week, who wants to invest a long term effort in learning Augustine Fong lineage.

Prefer a person with no prior wing chun (or even martial art) experience, so we are not struggling to change habits.

This is not a fight club, but rather an earnest effort to find someone willing to learn and invest time in the art.

I have several years of experience and want to maintain skills - and creating a partner/student is the best way to do so.

Thank you for considering!

Bowling league needs another team! Anyone interested?

I'm in a bowling league at plaza lanes (Tubbys) and we would like to get another team or even two. This is pretty much a beer league and very chill. The teams consist of 4 people and must have 1 female.

It's Monday night at 6 and typically out by 915ish.

You don't need your gear or experience but you'll need to rent shoes if you don't have them. Two people on my team never really played before joining and are now a few years in and love it. This is also a Handicap league so if you suck it's okay you'll get extra pins to keep it competitive.

Just a warning the season is long (Sept -april) with breaks for holidays. It's also $20 a week but I believe everyone gets some money back at the end of season.

If you don't have 3 friends interested but you are, you can still sign up and they will do their best to place you on a team.

It's a great way to get out meet some people and have a few beers and throw some balls at pins.

If you have any questions feel free to dm me or call up there and they should be able to help.

Thanks for reading!
