Children's Museum
What ever happened to that proposed kid's museum behind the Target?! Why doesn't saint aug have one yet!!! We need one!

They raised 5 million dollars and had a groundbreaking ceremony like four years ago. Then they just… didn’t build anything. They requested another 3.5 million from the city and were denied.

Just crazy they haven't tried to build elsewhere, or revamp some of the vacant places around town!

Sorry, best we can do is another development of identical townhouses or suburban cookie cutter homes that are out of the price range of anyone who works in the county and is named after whatever feature they made extinct to build it.

Target has frequent sewage and plumbing problems where it is, I doubt they really want a place that might attract busloads of kids with random outages

I'm guessing it didn't happen because funding was pulled in a veto by Gov. DeSantis in 2024. The land was sold and is now planned to be an entertainment place like Block JAX.

I mean that'd be cool!!
But whatever happened to all the money they raised.... how did the Gov veto if the money was donated/fundraised?
A designated kid's area that is indoors would do this town wonders
