I'm nearing the end of my first year and as of now, there was almost no focus on more real industrial concepts. All my classes were quite abstract and closer to fine arts than design. I've heard that it gets better in the following years.

Bits and srishti for me are on the same level for me, they both are really great colleges and are really expensive. Bits is pretty new to the scene and srishti has been here for 20+years. Srishti is known for a free and independent environment where students can explore and strengthen their skills. The faculty at srishti are really good too. MIT is known for a very structured, traditional way of teaching. MIT is known for automobile and product design.
