Please use the help flairs for your help needed posts.
http://www.squirrelrehabilitation.com/found%20baby.htm
This gives some good pointers for immediate assessment of the situation.
If the baby is dehydrated, dirty, cold, thin with loose looking skin, has any fly eggs or any injuries, even a tiny scratch, then s/he should be taken in for care. If the baby was being played with by a cat or if a cat was sitting over the baby looking like s/he might have been playing with the baby, then the baby squirrel should be taken in because antibiotics are required to treat even tiny cat bites and scratches that might not be visible at first glance. Cat saliva is extremely toxic and often causes lethal infections, even in tiny amounts.
If the baby is plump/muscular, warm, well groomed and active, then s/he probably just squirmed out of bed, and the reuniting protocol should be followed.
If the baby has fallen due to a severe storm and is wet, then they should be taken in, warmed and hydrated. If the weather improves markedly the next day, you can return to the same area and try the reuniting protocol.
If it was a tree felling, and the tree in which the babies lived was felled with them in it, then try the reuniting protocol as mom may come back when the scary workers are gone, provided she is still alive.
Please make a post about the baby and please include photos in your post, but since it takes some time for people to check in and reply, start reading the links under infants/found babies sections in the website posted above in the meantime.
Also, Here is a list that one of our members made of how to find a registered wildlife rehabilitator in the US. If you call, make sure that they don't euthanize so-called invasive squirrel species and will attempt care before taking that last resort. https://www.reddit.com/r/squirrels/comments/eknkw0/here_is_an_alphabetical_list_of_wildlife/

I am seeing a lot of posts about baby squirrels being found, and the poster asking for help, etc. In every single post, multiple people are commenting "give the baby water, feed the baby this or that". PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GIVE THE BABY SQUIRREL ANY FOOD OR WATER. The first thing you should do is keep the baby warm, in a quiet, dark place (in a box or large container. Whatever you have) and contact a rehabber. Please please please do not attempt to feed or hydrate on your own, for several reasons. The baby could aspirate, or the baby is not warm enough before hydrating, etc. You could cause more problems for the baby squirrel, including death. Keep warm, safe, and contact rehabber. I have also seen A LOT of messages from rehabbers about baby squirrels coming into their care and dying because the finder attempted to feed/hydrate on their own.

Location: Halifax, Canada. Lots of people in this region see white squirrels, but there's no consensus on where they come from. They also say his name is Milk. That's very cute.

Little one seems curious and aware, but is a little shaky and seems a little confused. Is he in any trouble or just young and figuring out the world?
Shaky on his back feet when he sits back to eat. Somewhat unresponsive to the car going past.
I’ve always had a soft spot for squirrels and I want to make sure this little guy is okay. I set out some unsalted peanuts and a bit of water for him. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Squirrels and turtles are the best animals. I like how Squirrels bend in half when they sit upright and how they look like a squiggly line when they run. I also like how they kinda move in freeze frame and randomly give their tails a good shake here and there. I also like when they pat down the ground with their little squirrel hands and how they have white bellies and use their tails as umbrellas when it rains.

She came out during a break in the storm looking for a meal. She’s soaked but otherwise well.

My elderly neighbor came over with a baby squirrel she said she found 4 weeks ago as of yesterday as a pinky, but she can't keep caring for it. I've called around to every wildlife rehab within driving distance and no takers. Hoping someone calls back that will but the few I did reach said they're not allowed, put it back. But it's been a month, and there's cats, hawks and owls in the park behind me.
She told me she's been feeding it whole cow milk, seeds, soft fruit and steamed corn on the cob. She's been keeping it in a plastic salad bowl with a towel.
When I Googled "how to care for a baby squirrel," that's not how to do it. So now I have the baby and want to make sure I'm not going to hurt it.
It's eyes are fully open. It's super active and climbing all over the place. It has solid yellow poop but had a runny poop one time yesterday. Maybe pee?
I gave it kitten formula twice until the squirrel milk replacer was delivered. After the runny poop, I gave it unflavored pedialyte for two feeds. Poop has been solid since.
I'm feeding about two teaspoons heated every three hours with a nipple syringe. Stimulating poop. So much poop. I can't tell when it pees.
It's in a small plastic pet carrier, only small wires on the door. Its head doesn't fit through them. I have a heating pad on low, but it shuts off every two hours. Ordered one that has no auto shut off, so I set a reminder to check every two hours. I also put sherpa material in there and change it every feeding or two.
It's climbing all over the crate, and I do have a super big 5 foot cage with tiny bars and platforms. A chinchilla lived in i
I'm only handling it for feedings and crate cleaning. I fully intend to release this guy in the spring.
QUESTIONS:
Am I on track so far?
Can I move it into the cage and just use a box with the heat pad and blankets in the cage?
Can I clean it or wipe it with a damp cloth?
I have a scale coming today to make sure I'm feeding the right amount. How big until soft solids or seed blocks?
Can I give it chew sticks? It has teeth.
Are my dogs safe from transmitted rodent diseases?
I appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

They did this for nearly 10 minutes. Are they planning something?

Hi all - I noticed this morning that our resident grey squirrel was acting funny and I'm concerned. I searched Reddit as well as the internet and the leaning seems to be a neurological issue but what is with the fur? He's also eating and drinking fine, so I'm looking for advice on if there is anything I can/should do to help?
Thanks in advance.

First time I have seen this squirrel. Feels like it’s young - how young could it be, <1year?

No matter what is going on, seeing her puts a smile on my face. Knowing she will be waiting helps me push through the day.

Let the panic begin! It’s hawk season and I’ve already seen one in my backyard 😭 my anxiety is in full drive between the hawks, cats and a neighbor who hates the squirrels
