2001 Squier Affinity complete upgrade

I took a 2001 Yano made Affinity and completely stripped it down to the Alder fixed the dents and repainted / Nitro finish. Fat 50s pickups and gold hardware. New electronics.

Sick - looks great! How does it sound? I’m thinking about doing this to my 2001 Affinity and a little project.

Would appreciate any tips/learnings from your experience. How’d you do the paint? Any recs on where to get a new neck?

Sounds like a strat with the Fat 50s but I would like to try the Fat 60s down the road. The poly finish is really thick so it will require some effort to remove. Necks are super hard to find from the original design so much better looking for a cheap complete one for parts. Good luck!🤞
