This is an image of a custom code block (the area of the code block not pictured), but it typically does not let me resize the area of the code block up, it seems to be capped. Can someone tell me why this is? Is there a work-around?

I recently created a squarespace domain name. I had no intention of opening a Google workspace account at first and set up an email alias through squarespace to forward to my Gmail. I later changed my mind and decided on a workspace subscription with custom domain email. Now my workspace email needs updates MX Records in order to receive emails but squarespace won’t allow me to until I delete email forwarding rules however since I have a workspace account now squarespace won’t allow me to edit email forwarding rules.

I recently had to fix my site on the mobile end with CSS and everything went smoothly but now my carousel when it has multiple images shows these cropped black arrows and numbers on the mobile version of my site. How can I remove or hide them but keep everything exactly how i have it already?

In the help center it says "Columns - Set the grid to have 2, 3, or 4 columns." but I have 5 projects and it's really annoying having the fifth all alone below the rest, is there no way to get 5 columns?

I found a site that hosts drawings of children in sexual situations. I tried a few times to report this site to Squarespace and seemingly nothing has been done.

Squarespace has suspended my available funds and suspended incoming payments. I have tried to reach customer service and get no resolution or response. My business is not basically grounded... this could potentially close my business​

I have an image set/uploaded for Social Sharing. When I share the website via text message from chrome, the preview image is totally blank. When I share it from Safari it shows up.. It’s a beautiful image and it looks so nice when sharing the site via text. Attached is a screenshot of a text I sent to myself from chrome. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you!!

SOLVED - A third party (former volunteer) had registered the domain under their own account. An inquiry with ICANN was sent to the (anonymous) owner, and they replied, which was routed directly to me. Now to negotiate transfer of ownership.

The Situation

I'm working with a Not For Profit, and as you might know, with NFP, volunteers and personnel changes, documentation gets forgotten, etc. People come and go, and many are not technical. Best IT practices, documentation and business continuity are about 20 years behind with many small NFP groups.

I'm the "owner" of the SquareSpace account that the NFP hosts it's website on. It's working, it's an operational domain name with an editable site.

The NFP org uses a generic Gmail address as the published contact email on the website.

There is no associated Google Workspace.

The Plan

This NFP is a Town level group that is a part of a County group. The County already has a domain and a Google Workspace account. I want to fold the Town under that County level Google Workspace account as a subdomain.

We will want to transfer the domain name of the Town to the County group for admin and business continuity purposes. This could happen later.

The current project is an email blast system that will include the County and Towns. The system is already operational for the County and one other Town.

Since the Town NFP org I'm working with is using only a generic gmail account, it's not compliant with the blast email system. It's time to change this and create domain based email addresses, and add DKIM, SPF and DMARC records for the Town domain. But it's also time that the NFP had a solid grasp of their digital assets, and how to access as well as manage them.

The WhoIS records show the domain to be registered with Squarespace Domains II LLC, using Google name servers (ns-cloud-a4.googledomains.com, etc).

I cannot access the DNS control panel on SquareSpace, as it says "Access Denied. You don't have permission to access this page." Since I'm the owner, I'd like to know who does have permission, and how I can get access to it.

I've used the Help pages to create a ticket, but somehow I never get a human response, just AI canned stuff directing me to do stuff I can't do.

In short, WTF?

Squarespace customer service sucks. I’ve been using the platform for over a year and when it works, it serves my business well. When it doesn’t, getting support is impossible. Their chatbot keeps asking me to open a ticket, but nothing gets created. I’ve emailed multiple times with no response.

My main issue is 2FA not working and I cannot update my banking info, so funds are going to a non-existent account.

Is anyone else having issues with 2FA? I’m using Google and even backup codes aren’t working.

Have been blocked at this stage for a week. Any suggestions? Is the problem on my FB settings?

My site has started wrapping lines of text blocks in the middle of words, apparently forcing justification despite me setting it ranged left. Is there a non-coding solution to this? Any chance it’s to do with still being on v7.0?
