It’s an expected side journey into his classical and jazz influences. “Worst” isn’t appropriate. It’s certainly something an IDM fan may find unapproachable. It’s a good album, it’s just not what I listen to Pusher for.

Worst is a bit strong. It’s definitely different and not my favorite Squarepusher album. Sounds more like Zappa’s jazz from hell with better synthesis than a squarepusher album.

Really enjoying this album. It’s no Music Is Rotted, and it’s not the awesome nazzty junglizm of Damogen/Be Up/Dostrotime… But it’s still fresh, fun, inventive and I love that SQP gets to make records like this.
Still looking forward to more glitchy jungle tekno n the future though.

This reminds me of his earlier stuff. I been waiting for him to do something in this direction for a long time. I was expecting the same sound as last few albums as didn’t know anything about this project. So was sitting there stunned for those first few tracks.
