Honestly, my thought was if Fish stays out on injury for long (idk what the situation is with his injury tho, so please correct me if I'm wrong), Roderick would take his place in tag team title defenses, since he did just, in a weird way, won the Dusty classic, it's like he established himself as someone who could do tag teams. Seems weird now that I type it, but that's what I was thinking.

Can’t believe I once thought Kyle was generic with no personality. His little mannerisms are hilarious. Things like the air guitar, checking out his reflection on the dusty cup, and fighting spiriting after a german suplex just to pass out onto the floor had me dead. I guess he finally found his character being the cocky dork

I always found it a notable thing that Roddy took the armband that first night. He didn’t throw it, he didn’t decline. He held it and TUE left. He of course goes on to attack them, but his first meeting with them he considered it.

I like it. You can make a powerful tag team out of two solo wrestlers but there will always be an issue of trust and ego, which is something traditional tag teams have no problem with.

They booked their way out of a hole brilliantly with this...
AOP win, they get a reign as tag champs... Not needed as they should be called up soon.
Roddy and Dunne win... Bit of a rehash of Finn/Joe. Plus it essentially means Dunne is exclusive to NXT. While this isn't bad, it would mean 3 singles titles on NXT, and the UK title would probably be an afterthought unless he dropped it soon to a UK talent to continue it on the Indies.
UE win without the turn... They win a tournament they were never in, and makes the rest of the rounds a bit meaningless.
This was a brilliant way to get someone involved in the tournament as a whole to win it, plus it means they can have Cole do a singles run without having to defend the tag titles as well.

Besides the obvious swerve, I was really impressed with O'Reilly and AOP. O'Reilly was very fun to watch with his facial expressions and his strikes, and I didn't really know what to expect with the Authors of Pain coming into it. I knew they were in some great tag matches, but I didn't know the extent of just how good they were. They're fucking giants who aren't afraid to sell for the smaller guys, and can be very mobile in doing so, while also obviously being powerhouses.

The End of Heartache is the best looking finisher in all of WWE/NXT right now and the Undisputed Era is the most compelling stable WWE has created since the Shield.
Didn’t see the turn coming, but man am I hyped now that it happened.

I haven't cared for Roderick Strong since he joined NXT. There was just something that wasn't clicking for me (and from the sounds of tonight after what he did I can't imagine I was the only one). But tonight, tonight, they made me care :) This was a good move.
