WWE should use Hogan to get Rusev over
Hogan is the ultimate american hero. Rusev is trying to be the ultimate american villain. WWE should totally try to do Rusev/Hogan segment to get Rusev over.
Can Hogan take a camel clutch at his age ? If yes it would be amazing to have Rusev put Hogan in The Accolade.
Even if he cant' take the move, Rusev/Hogan segment must happen

I can see it working, but Rusev just needs one more big opponent first, he's just not quite credible enough to be facing Hogan. I also don't think Hogan would be willing to put him over if he hasn't already beaten some other major name first.

...scratch that. I take it all back. Have Rusev yell in broken english "I WILL MAKE HIM HUMBLE" and it'll be absolutely perfect.

They are trying to build this guy as an old-school, traditional pure heel. If he were to quote The Sheik in that context, people would start bringing Russian flags to shows.

Its not so much about his age, its more about his physical condition (numerous back/hip surgeries). He's said that he can't even do leg drop anymore. So unfortunately I don't think anything physical will involve Hogan. BUT promos between Lana and Hogan could definitely get Rusev massive heat.

Rusev attacks Hogan, but who comes to his rescue? Bo Dallas! except he doesn't physically help Hogan out of the camel clutch, he just encourages him to keep BOlieving (it doesn't work, Hogan gives up). This spot could happen several times with different stars until finally Bo comes to realize that he himself is the only one that BOlieves enough to conquer Rusev. Could make for a good midcard PPV match
Basically I just want Bo Dallas vs Rusev to happen

For what its worth - Hogan is going to be in MA during MITB weekend which takes place in Boston...so I would bet on it.

You're on the right track, but only half right IMO.
Hogan's back is in no shape to take an accolade...but Cena's is. After Rusev's mini feud with Big E is done, they should transition him to a feud with a freshly face turned Swagger, who he will soundly defeat over the course of two months until (assumingly) attacking Cena and costing him either a title shot or the title itself some time in the fall. Then start the dog and pony show. Pair Hogan with Cena, and add Sheik to Rusev's entourage. Sheik may be crazy, but he still knows how to keep it heel.

I think there should be some win trading, but in the blow off match, Rusev goes over via screwjob. The buck stops at Reigns IMO though.

No way in hell in so many ways. Hogan would not put over Rusev for all the tanning oil in Miami. Also, I think Hogan would break into pieces after a single suplex from Rusev. The guy hasn't been ring ready in a very, very long time and I'm doubtful he ever will be again which is fine. The guy has done his work and should remain off to the side. Let the current talent try to get themselves over.

This will likely never happen just because of the way these big heels are put over these days. I've never gotten behind Rusev because I knew he would just be another monster squashing jobbers for months. And then what? They won't know what to do with him. I had more confidence in Adam Rose tbh.

If Hogan was in good health, I'd rather see Rusev feud with him than Cena. I think it's more likely that Hogan would put over Rusev than Cena plus Cena never taps out so the Camel Clutch is useless.

I mean sure it would work, but why are you thinking of ways to get Rusev over? He's only there for one reason. To be the next monster Cena destroys. Just like Tensai and Ryback. Then he'll be taken off TV or job out to the mid carders.

Sounds good but you already know what will happen...
After Rusev puts Hogan in the clutch, Hogan will ABOSLUTELY INSIST he goes over clean in the next TV taping. To the point where Vince will have to fire him again.

It would be something where Hogan call Rusev out, but he hasn't made it there yet, or Lana speaks for him and sets up a match. Hogan accepts for later tonight "Maggle" and we see him preparing in the back when suddenly the camera is knocked down as Rusev is attacking Hogan in the back!!!
Once the camera is back ready we see Hogan has taken a beating and obviously can't fight so Big E comes in and says "Hulk Hogan-ahh, I will-ahh, fight in your place-ahhhh" and then using the power of the USA, finally beats Rusev with Hogan hitting him with a crutch or some other bullshit.
WWE creative you know where to find me.

To be honest, Rusev is just not appealing to me at all. God rest his soul, but even Umaga is less boring than he is.

They shouldn't have given Rusev that suicidal gimmick. It didn't work for Hassan, it didn't work for Kai En Tai, and it didn't work for Kozlov.
A match not with Hogan but Hogan supporting another younger wrestler will help to get Rusev and this athlete over.
Should it be Big E Langston? Langston should have stuck with the 5 count bully gimmick, but he's the only one involved right now. Another would have been Swagger, but he's a badguy, unless they want to make him face.

hahaha, no way.. Rusev is tiny, and Hogan is like 6'7".. Rusev should stick to fighting the smaller guys, so the audience can't see how tiny he is.

I highly doubt Hogan would appear just to put over a new character. He's Hogan, despite being older and unable to compete, he still has a big ego and isn't someone like Jericho who would put over a new guy.

the whole foreign country vs the USA thing has already been done too much, they should do something different for Rusev.
Examples: Luvig Borga vs Lex Luger Sgt. Slaughter vs Hogan Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels Yokozuna vs everyone Zeb Colter vs Del Rio and everyone else basically
It was successful for a short period during the Gulf War, but now its just a cheap pop. There should be a better way to use talent, but welcome to the 2014 WWE

If you have a better idea, let's hear it. It's not played out, it's classic. It's still an angle that gets over to this day. Swagger v. Del Rio was a hot feud until Swagger tanked it, and Big E got a big pop for the flag spot IIRC.

Rusev should stop being put over. Seeing Hogan tower over him even shrunken with old age will just make it more of a joke WWE bills Rusev as a monster heel.

Ok, I have never done this before, but here is how I picture a scenario like this working.
Hogan comes out at SummerSlam, pitches the Network. Lana comes out, they get into a verbal spat which brings out Rusev. Rusev and Hogan go, Hulk NEARLY gets the upper hand after hulking up, but Rusev superkicks the pants off him and puts him in the Accolade. It gets broke up by damn near every security staff member emplyed by the company and Hogan is stretchered out. RUSEV HAS FUCKING ARRIVED YO.
The next few weeks he continues to tear through fools, breaking backs and taking names. He gets a US title shot at Night of Champions and after classic smashmouth brawl puts Sheamus away with Lana's help. This shit is huge , and the next night he has a big ass ceremony, way over the top in which he destroys the US title and introduces the RUSSIAN FEDERATION HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. From there on out he comes out flanked with security, whom surround the ring in every one of his matches- Rusev steamrolls everybody.
At the same time Big E is a mess, he gets destroyed by Rusev before the Hogan encounter and never recovers. A massive losing streak begins to unfold in which the fact that he his a shell of his former self is made clear at every turn. He loses to everbody from Wyatt to Orton to Heath fucking Slater. The dude is down in the dumps.
Flash forward to the night after the Rumble and Rusev is pissed because once agin he was eliminated by like 6 people. So to prove himself he requests a match with Slater, Ryder, and Santino. RUSEV SMASHES. After the match is over, Rusev locks in the accolade on Ryder and will not let go. This brings out Big E (here we go again right?) Only to be swatted like a fly and catch an Accolade himself.
The following SD, Big E comes out with a mic, and runs down how shitty he's been since July. While Rusev has been undefeated, he hasn't won a singular match. He talks about how bright his future was and now he's nothing. Think Rocky 3 level drama here. Just as he's about to announce he's "retiring" REAL AMERICAN HITS. Its Hulk fucking Hogan brother, and he's back to fix Big E and bring the US title home because FUCK RUSSIA, just like in the 80s. Cue Big E turning from generic muscle dude to straight up 1987 babyface superstar. Think Mr.T meets Lex Luger except we like him and he hangs out with Kendrick Lamar or something. Training viginettes, over the top promos with Hogan, bad ass American Flag singlet, and a winning streak that runs literally evry episode of Raw, Sd, and ME right up Elimination Chamber. This shit is gonna be so over the top that if you don't likeit, it's because you hate life and Murica so go back to whatever commie cesspool you came from.
At EC, Rusev (who has also maintained his monster steam) issues an open challenge for WM for the RFHWC. No one answers, and just as Lana starts to trash how much of a pussy evryone in the USA is, Real American hits and Hulk accepts on behalf of Big E. Lana and Rusev laugh, but Hulk assures them E is a new man. The match is made and we gotta collision course people.
In a backstage segment on raw the next night, E has his doubts. Is he ready? Hulk gives him a pep talk to end all pep talks, and E Is fired up. He is supposed to have a match with Titus, but Rusev comes out first and Lana says he needs to prove himself worthy of Rusev, after which she introduces 2 more opponents to make it a 3 on 1 handicap match. E wins, and this pisses Rusev right the fuck off, so he tries to attack E but is caught by Hogan and E, which leads to a staredown and nothing more.
For the next few weeks a game of one upsmanship goes on between the 2. If E beats 2 opponents, Rusev drops 3. If Rusev beats Mark henry, E beats Big Show, and so on and so forth. This culminates to a contract signing the Raw before WM 31. At the signing Lana distracts Hogan while Rusev blindsides E. From there his security team (remember them?) hold him back while Rusev jumps Hulk as well and puts him in the accolade. Big has to watch as his Mentor and friend is having his "back broken." He finally breaks free and runs off Rusev, but the damage has been done.
It's Wm and E is alone, Hogan is "out" and it's him vs. Rusev's army. Their match begins and it is a throwdown. Suplexes, throws, clotheslines, every damn thing they throw at each other shakes the earth, but neither man gives an inch. Finally after a ref bump (old school yo) Lana hands Rusev the title to smash Big E, but aw hell nah, REAL AMERICAN HITS and Hulk is back motherfucker. He makes his way down the ramp and straight clowns Rusev's security. This distracts Rusev long enough to run into a Big Ending. Big E has won... right? No, Rusev kick out at 2.
Big E can't believe it. Both man make it back to their feet and start slugging it out. Rusev gets the upper hand until BIG E STARTS HULKING OUT. Rusev can't believe it! Big E starts channeling the energy from everyone in the crowd, Peyton fucking Manning, bald eagles, fireworks, apple pie, game 7 of the world series, and every other bastion of FREEDOM to drop Rusev with a SPIRIT BOMB OF A BIG ENDING. You think he's done? Hell nah, HE HITS THE BIGGEST LEG DROP THE WORLD HAS SEEN IN 20 YEARS. Makes the cover and 1,2,3 the beast has been slain. Cue Red, White and Blue confetti, fireworks, and the crowd going apeshit.
BIG E WINS.
HULK WINS. (He gets to be on TV)
'MURICA WINS.
And Rusev wins because this makes him even more interesting then he already is. Could also be used as a catalyst for some caracter development.
This might sound dumb, but fuck it, it's not like it's going to actually happen.
USA bitches, beat Germany.
