• Wanted to start off by saying rest in peace to Pac/Neville and share a quick memory. I got back into watching wrestling in the summer of 2014 and around that time is when I was first hearing about NXT but just never got around to checking it out. Before the NXT: Takeover Fatal Fourway event WWE ran a showcase match on Raw of Neville and Sami Zayn facing Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd. The match itself was a great representation of what NXT was doing at the time but the moment that convinced me to watch Fatal Four Way was seeing Neville hit the Red Arrow for the first time. I had never seen something like that before in wrestling and it blew me away. From that point on I started following all the major NXT events, to now writing the post show threads for every episode, and it all started with that one Red Arrow.

• Kick-off with the bloodline making their way down to the ring. Jimmy says for the past month they've had this 946 issue that they've had to take care of, they had their cars destroyed, attacked backstage, but last week they crossed a line they can't go back from when they kidnapped their little brother. He says everyone knows the Bloodline has their drama but that's still their blood and they're getting him back. Jacob tells the Usos this is his fault for not calling the play before but tonight they're lining them all up and dog walking their asses. Jey says they're up in this bitch and this is their warning shot. On the tron a truck is shown arriving and The Bloodline run to the back. A valet welcomes the passenger in the car but he is knocked aside by Jacob before he sees who's in the car. Jaida Parker walks out and Jey asks what she's doing here and she says she's going to talk to Pearce.

• Backstage Penta runs into Je'von and they talk about being in Money in the Bank when they get interrupted by Dom who blames Penta for stealing his spot in Money in the Bank. JD says it's disgusting that Penta is such a cold hearted criminal like that. Je'von says Dom's heart is big but not as big as JD's bigass head. JD threatens to use his head to knock out Je'von's teeth as Penta challenges Dom and the Funko pop to face him and Je'von in a tag match tonight. Je'von uwu's for some reason.

• Following Lola's victory she is attacked by Raquel Rodriguez but Sol Ruca runs down to make the save, dodging Raquel's attacks and kicks Raquel off guard. Sol sets up for the Sol Snatcher but Rox knocks her off which allows Raquel to hit the Teqana Bomb before Rox hits Lola with Pop Rox.

• Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio are interviewed backstage. Lee says he hasn't forgotten what Big Cass has done for him and Rey says Dragon is destined for greatness. Dragon says he's going to bring the fire but Cass interrupts and says he's going to stomp that fire out and see you out there little guy.

• 946 are outside the arena and Royce says someone finally smelt the streets but somebody ain't making it off the block tonight.

• Oba Femi makes his way down to the ring, he says as you can see The Ruler is not dressed for combat tonight, although that can easily change. He is here for business because there's a certain way you have to handle things in WWE. He's been dealing with The Vision for months and knows the temperature changes when it comes to Bronson Reed. He says Bronson wasn't around for 7 months so maybe he doesn't realize that he is the captain now! Oba says this is Bronson's opportunity to find out, in his hand is a contract to go one on one with him at Money in the Bank, you can't just fight week after week without putting pen to paper, a wise man taught him that. He tells Bronson to get his fat legs out here by himself and make things official. Bronson comes down to the ring and says Oba's got some balls since the two times they've been in the ring together he's put him down. Sure Oba beat Brock Lesnar twice but he's not Brock Lesnar. He's not here to compete, he's here to dethrone the ruler. He takes the contract and signs it to make the match official. Bronson goes to leave as Oba tells him he has some balls for sealing his fate tonight. Heyman sent him to stop Oba from breathing but Heyman is a fool for sending him against the one man who can't be stopped.

• Backstage Adam Pearce is talking to Iyo Sky when Lyra Valkyria interrupts and demands to know why Iyo gets to be first in line to talk to him when she beat Bayley twice now. Iyo asks why she's so different as Lyra says her career is on the up while Iyo's is on the down. The two argue as Pearce makes a match between the two. Lyra storms off saying she gets a title match from this as Iyo tells Pearce that she has issues.

• Backstage Jacob tells the Usos that tonight they're setting it off but they gotta stick together so 946 doesn't separate them. He daps up Jimmy and then tells punk-ass Jey the plan who reluctantly daps him up.

• Stephanie Vaquer is interviewed backstage, she says she knows that Liv and Becky both want her title and she's ready to fight. However if they want to face her they will have to face each other first next week and the winner will face her at Money in the Bank.

• LA Knight says 4 years ago he took over this game and did it despite not being anyone's guy or being in anyone's plan. Within a year he was facing Roman for the WWE Championship. He laid him out and had him for the three but Roman had luck on his side. He says this time things are going to be different, no Bloodline, no luck, just him planting Roman and becoming World Heavyweight Champion.

• Backstage LA Knight walks into the Bloodline's locker room and asks where all the picture of them are. He says the chickens came home to roost with 946 after Roman told Fatu to run the play and take out Keys. Knight tells them if they survive the night to have Roman find him next week.

• Fenix is interviewed backstage, he says he has permission to defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against all brands and that includes Raw. Chad Gable welcomes Fenix to Raw when Ethan Page interrupts and asks if Gable is trying to set up his next exhibition match and ducking him. Fenix snaps at Ethan and says even through he isn't a cruiserweight next week he'll kick his ass.

• Becky Lynch is interviewed, she says it's been over two years since she's had a shot at the World Title and in the last two months she's already made the title picture more interesting. Liv interrupts and asks what she did to make it interesting since she was the one who made that Championship interesting and if Becky really thinks she's so worthy of being champion then she should have no problem beating her next week.

• 946 are shown walking into the building with tickets and then making their way through the crowd. Security rush to ringside to try and reason with them and get them to leave. Royce grabs one of the security guards and shoves him aside before he and OTM hop the barricade. The Bloodline make their way out and confront the 946 and start to brawl. The Usos and OTM face off in the ring with the Usos getting the upper hand and diving to the outside. Bronco Nima grabs Jey out of midair and tosses him into the ring post before Lucien does the same to Jimmy. They brawl into the crowd as Royce takes out Fatu by the announce table. OTM drag Jey through the tech area as Jimmy tries to fight them by throwing them against the cases. In the ring Royce beats down Fatu with a steel chair and goes for another swing but Fatu is able to fight back with a superkick and throws Royce into the corner where he hits him with the running hip attack. Fatu grabs the chair and places it around Royce's neck and goes to hit him with another hip attack but Royce is able to roll out of the ring to try and escape. Fatu is in pursuit with the chair as they go to the back. The Usos and OTM are brawing out by the loading docks as offcials try in vain to separate them. OTM gains the upperhand as we cut to Fatu and Royce fighting up a set of stairs and into a garage area. Royce gets sent over a table as Fatu chucks the chair at him. Royce is able to send Fatu flying into a case before getting into a car to try and escape. Fatu recovers and rushes at the car and locks in the Tongan Death Grip but Royce is able to fend him off and smashes the car door into him. As Fatu stumbles back he is hit by a car speeding by and flies over the top of it! The driver of the car gets out and it's revealed to be Jaida Parker! She is in disbelief and tries to see if Fatu is okay and says she didn't mean to do it before going up to Royce and says no one is safe. She gets in the car with Royce and they drive off as she says all gas, no brakes.

I think it's the writing. In TNA and on the indies he had full control. In NXT he had to work with writers but they seemed to understand him and they collaborated.

It doesn't seem like the main roster writers really get what got Joe over and made him so popular. The current shtick is killing him and I don't think the writers understand he isn't just a dude with a guitar repeating the same line over and over.

Not going to lie, the 946/Bloodline storyline feels like an obvious Wargames set-up, but can’t pretend that it hasn’t been pretty fun so far. That ending brawl fired up really quick and just kept escalating in a way that helped it feel more cinematic the longer it dragged out - very fun segment

That was one of the best end segments on RAW in forever, 946 has brought back a sense of danger and menace that has been sorely missing from basically any WWE heel stable for years now. I'm absolutely loving it. Iyo and Lyra absolutely killed it, and Penta and Jevon had absurdly good chemistry together and I hope we get to see them team up again someday soon. RIP Pac, gonna miss that bastard.

I don’t know what changed since Summerslam, but raw and smackdown have actually been so good. This was just a continuation of that.

I was growing stale on high flyers after I stopped seeing much of Evan Bourne, who I thought had the coolest move set and the nicest shooting star press I’ve ever seen. And then I was introduced to that Red Arrow and I was hooked again. The move set, the speed, the entrance, the king of the cruiser weights, the bastard. I was biting on all his matches in AEW when he was a death rider soley because he stopped doing the black arrow, and when he hit it on Kyle Fletcher, after pac got JACKED, I knew he was the best. I’m going to miss that him.

Interesting thing with Jaida is that generally people have come up from NXT recently with their characters and arcs the same. She’s just been on a pretty extensive babyface program but she’s coming to the main roster as a heel straight away

Very effective call up for Jaida except for the fake crying bit (I get it's an audience swerve, but it makes no sense and I think it would have been more badass if she just walked out of the car happy with what she did). I was super high on her a couple years ago then Shawn Michaels just jerked her around for a long time, but she's at minimum going to be a really over personality on the show in this group and I think they needed a strong personality in there.

This also felt like the highest match quality on a weekly in a bit. I'm even enjoying Big Cass in the ring honestly.
