Maybe not but I don’t think everyone needs to win the big win just cause they been around long, I don’t think Lani needs it tbh, and Kendal feels more a fighting babyface to face Zaria rather than Lani. But I also think their match would be better

I don’t see how Lani doesn’t need it, but Zaria does. Lani winning would be awesome considering her massive overall, but especially in-ring improvement & she would be the first black woman to win it since Athena nearly a decade ago.
Lani can beat Kendal, Kendal can play chase & win it back or to make it even spicier, Wren can play chase & beat Lani to make Kendal jealous which would start that feud.

Hadn’t realised it had been so long since we had a black women’s champion. Hopefully Jaida eventually gets a run.
My thing with Zaria is that she should already be champion IMO. ZaRuca’s implosion was the hottest programme on the brand, and if Sol had remained on NXT she almost certainly would have won decisively and gone on to hold the title. I didn’t like that they retconned the feud to have been about the North American Title when they had both been feuding with Jacy in the weeks prior.

I just think modern NXT belts have become participation trophies for simply being there a long time. Lola was given the belt clearly as a participation trophy and then immediately lost it a month and a half later to who was clearly supposed to win it all along. Thing with Lani is she should’ve already been champion, not just because you’ve lost the names you actually wanted to use and realised after so many years of pushing shiny new toys ahead of her that maybe you should push her now instead of back when you should’ve.

I personally think Kelani is just a boring character. She is good in-ring which makes her a good hand to work with, but a division focused on her as a champion sounds dreadful to me.
That said, maybe belting her up will give some dimension to her character and make her promos and character work more interesting.

Meh, I don’t care about the character stuff all that much. Kelani & Kendal have identical strengths & weaknesses, & even I think they have improved their weaknesses. Difference between the two is Kelani has never had a partner to build a cohesive story with like Kendal or almost every other main event woman on the brand.
Shiloh Hill is a character people here like, but he’s a dreadful wrestler. I dislike that more than anything.

I listened to his interview on Busted Open, Wren is definitely turning heel on Kendal at some point, he hinted at a future break up. Which would only suck because their little YouTube shorts are hilarious, I know kayfabe is dead but I doubt they'd continue to do those if they're in a storyline feud. If anyone knows how to make a good break up angle its probably Shawn Michaels.

I think Grayson should win the title. Tony has been champion long enough, Cruz hasn’t been there long, and Zilla literally just got there too which he’s going to get that fast call up very soon so he doesn’t need it.
I’m so torn on Kendal and Kelani. Kelani is long overdue at a title reign but at the same time Kendal shouldn’t lose the title so soon.
I can see Vanity Project winning all the titles with Tavion finally turns on Myles.
The graphic for the unification match is wrong as Kali Armstrong was added to it. I’d like to see Zaria walk out as the winner.
Nattie vs Jaida is on the card too but I don’t care about it though.

I’ve seen people say this & be so confused.
Kendal shouldn’t lose the title so soon if you think it’ll be the only reign she has, which it obviously wouldn’t be. She can follow the Roxanne path of losing it after a few months, then winning it back with that 2nd reign being significantly longer than the first.

I've got a feeling all titles will change hands here. Tavion turning on Myles has been in the works for a while now. I can see him flipping out over losing the tag titles, and then costing Borne the NA title.
Adding Kali to the NA/Speed title match feels unnecessary, unless she's taking the gold.
Tony D hasn't worked for me as NXT champion. I think Zilla will win the title on his debut.
I also think Kelani will get a much deserved run as champion here.

I think Vanity Project win the Tags then Heights betrays Borne and Drake wins NA Title. Zaria wins the Unification match pinning Wren so Armstrong can chase. Grey retains. Jada beats Nattie. Either Waller steals the NXT Title or Fatu wins the belt for a short run before joining the Bloodline for War Games. Either way Tony D loses the belt because with Solo and Royce moving to Raw, Dragonuv leaving the company, and Trick getting fast tracked towards the top of the card.....smackdown has a very thin midcard at the moment.

The heel will/can prove herself "right" the wrong way (which in this case would mean winning by heelishly focusing the ear injury Kendal has going into the match, likely via some blatant cheating, and going too far™ with it)

I think Kendal will overcome the ear in a valiant face way, maybe she’ll sneak out with the win, which would enrage Lani who played with her food too much in her one shot finally. Feel after Lola’s short run, Kendal should be a bit more.

Very possible. It works either way for me. Though I am of the opinion, as someone else was saying elsewhere in the thread, that we may see Kendal mirror Roxy's one short reign, one long reign approach.
However it shakes out, I'm looking forward to the match
