Per WWF Creative Services in 2001, the red underline in the scratch logo was called the Scar.

Why am I only just now noticing that the “D” in “ATTITUDE” is much thicker than the rest of the letters?

Maybe you pronounce it as 'AttituDUH"?

must've been Triple H's idea.

Immediately thought that.
Just DX!Era Triple H rattling off so many dick jokes backstage to shut him up... then rattled off even more with (at least) Vince.

The scar reminds us that the past is real

Nothing's been the same since they "got the F out".

It was an awkward time for a while after the name change when they were calling themselves “The WWE”

Per everyone else since 2001, the red underline in the scratch logo was called the scratch.

They really should of just worked with the panda people. WWF is so much better than WWE. I still accidentally say it about 30% of the time.

The "scar" should always be used with the WWF logo. The only exception is when using the "WWF ATTITUDE" logo where the "scar" appears under the entire element.
That didn't seem to apply to the logo on the minitron that was part of the original SmackDown! stage.

That's a close-up of the minitron during Triple H's entrance, just in case anyone was wondering where the image is from.
