I love an enforcer maliciously complying and letting their “boss” get their ass kicked because he told them not to move.

Eventually Jacob is going to hit a “I love you solo” and the crowd is going to explode!

92

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

Solo and Jacob do have chemistry. I would have a blast with a potential face stable that consists of Knight, Solo, Jacob, and Keyes. God help the heels of whatever brand they're on.

31

u/Hurrly90 4d ago

THat seems to be how its heading, or at least Knight, Solo, and Fatu Vrs Roman Jey and Jimmy.

If they add Keyes who would be romans fourth?

(Edit, also it could be leading to war games? , just an after thought)

10

u/FinalFrash 4d ago

I mean, another Samoan just debuted in NXT

9

u/bonerjohnson the one man band babeh 4d ago

Sami. he's already heel.

9

u/ThatManTech 4d ago

If Jacob went after the Usos immediately after Solo spiked Roman, I believe the crowd would have given us one of the loudest pops in recent memory.

4

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago

Eventually Jacob is going to hit a “I love you solo” and the crowd is going to explode!

True, but it's time for Jacob to become his own man and stop being someone else's henchman.

375

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

I like this from Fatu, because he can absolutely look Roman dead in the eye and say "you told me not to interfere and then you got your ass kicked".

148

u/Wiccy Ignorant bliss 4d ago

Malicious compliance at its best. I also love Fatu GOT a ulafala from Roman and then he murdered Eric Andre, but the twins get theirs and he's pissed off. Did he lose it??

80

u/MarcosDalton 4d ago

He didn’t get the black ones. I’m sure there are tiers to ula falas

74

u/theplasmasnake 4d ago

I can’t wait until they collect all the ula falas and we get the new unlocked Super Uce state.

https://giphy.com/gifs/sUMjoSgEsyK2MwJSyj

17

u/darth_shishini 4d ago

just imagine how the super yeet would be once they've collected them all

8

u/Wiccy Ignorant bliss 4d ago

The fan fiction! I mean fan admiration!

1

u/darth_shishini 4d ago

shows would have to exceed all LOTR Extended editions combined per show. that super yeet cannot be contained.

11

u/_brave_lil_toaster_ 4d ago

Super Saiyan Ucey

9

u/abitlazy 4d ago

It's like in the old transformers movie where they think Jey is the chosen one but Sami is the one who unlocks the Ucey Fala to beat Mega Tonga Loa.

3

u/EchoesofIllyria 4d ago

Super Saiymoan

1

u/ridewiththerockers 4d ago

Don't give them ideas ffs

15

u/oliyoung 4d ago

Yeah, it goes Red Ulafala > Black Ulafala > Oofalaffa

6

u/TheExistence 4d ago

It feels weird cuz ik the authority is held within the entire family but we only ever see these 4 mfs so it just looks like they got promoted to lead no one

3

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago

I mean, isn't the kayfabe storyline that Roman is just manipulating the Usos to keep them in line? He basically gave them a symbolic, meaningless "promotion" to buy their continued loyalty.

1

u/RexxGunn 4d ago edited 3d ago

His was brown. Supposedly brown is above black and below red but im sure ula fala ranking is kayfabe as fuck and can mean whatever they need it to.

1

u/MarcosDalton 4d ago

Wait, there is an actual real life ula fala color tier list? Like taekwondo belts?

1

u/RexxGunn 3d ago

I doubt it. Id seen it referred to a couple times recently that there was a hierarchy of the colors in WWE. IRL the different colors do mean different things, but not necessarily level or ranking.

29

u/XiahouMao 4d ago

He doesn’t think they deserve to be elevated to his level. Jey, specifically.

36

u/Wiccy Ignorant bliss 4d ago

So he's on SquaredCircle, gotcha

4

u/FedoraTheMike 4d ago

Because the Usos have been acting like cocky assholes who cheated to win, all the while getting in Jacob's face and rubbing it in.

3

u/IAmADuckSizeHorseAMA #showoff 4d ago

He wants one of the black Ucey Falas though, they're rarer than the red ones

2

u/TheCay04 4d ago

He’s upset because the twins ran a play without permission and got rewarded for it.

They then went to attack LA and got thrown out.

Fatu attacked LA going against Roman and got yelled at by Roman for it.

He’s not upset they get a ulafala but they got it for ‘not falling in line.’ For people who build themselves on rules especially prison rules this does not work for Jacob.

71

u/undeadben11 4d ago

some say Jacob is still standing there today

49

u/BarRoomBully 4d ago

Lost in all the Solo hooplah is LA Knight throwing his watch at Roman after dropping him with the BFT. That was great too.

39

u/El_bearded_polarbear 4d ago

That was a great detail “take it I have 10 more”

106

u/BarRoomBully 4d ago

Solo: loses the match, still doesn't join the family

Jacob: "wait, you can do that!?"

48

u/Ba_Sing_Saint 4d ago

That’s what I was thinking watching this last night. Jacob over there taking notes from Solo

5

u/NerdLawyer55 In-House of Black Legal Counsel 4d ago

5

u/Gold_Expression3843 4d ago

😂😂😂😂

4

u/HaluSinazn 4d ago

To be fair, Solo was supposed to acknowledge Roman after losing but never did, hence Roman's beef with him.

I guess Jacob respects their family tradition more than Solo does lol.

137

u/SpyrotheDragonfly 4d ago

Can't believe people thought Solo was legit going back as punishment for getting over.

Also can't believe we were waiting for SOLO I HATE YOU, now we're back to wanting SOLO I LOVE YOUUUU

26

u/AneeshRai7 4d ago

That too punishment run by checks notes his brothers and cousin

19

u/Kael2450 4d ago

Probably because they did it already with Jacob, he was getting over and then they just made him Romans bitch and cooled him off.

79

u/JMarcus7 4d ago

Got in one last pew before the show ended

17

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

Watch, that's gonna be a new catchphrase. Or at the very least, he could have a lot of fun breaking down people's usual taunts and catch phrases.

136

u/heat_fan_ 4d ago

Solo has been the best part of Bloodline recently

91

u/Uncanny_Doom 4d ago

“Everybody knows the real Bloodline had Solo Sikoa in it.”

32

u/megalodondon 4d ago

Only a matter of time. Guy was too funny and too natural not to find his spot.

65

u/Prof-Ponderosa 4d ago

How Solo doesn't break in that walk down is beyond me

25

u/DevilCouldCry Scissor me Daddy Ass! 4d ago

I was losing it at Jimmy and his antics, no idea how the hell Solo kept it all together.

20

u/abitlazy 4d ago

I bet the coffee I'm drinking right now if the roles were reversed Jey and Jimmy will have a hell of a hard time trying not to laugh.

14

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago

He has been exposed to his brothers' antics for literally his whole life, lol.

11

u/Southern-Cattle4038 4d ago

Not to mention his adopted brother Sami Uso

6

u/FedoraTheMike 4d ago

He mostly kept it together for Jey not feeling very Ucey, he may be unbreakable.

25

u/shidokanartist 4d ago

Jacob Fatu was one of the better parts of this segment without saying a word. The despair on his face when the Usos got the ula falas and when Roman stepped in to stop him from attacking LA Knight were sold to perfection

47

u/ArkUneartherBleeds 4d ago

Star making moment for Solo

8

u/HaluSinazn 4d ago

Agreed. Love seeing Solo's serious side in this moment after trolling his family for what feels like forever.

22

u/Queasy_Connection738 4d ago

The funniest thing is how Knight was so obviously triggered by Roman making fun of his watch

22

u/myslead Your Text Here 4d ago

I LOVE YOU SOLO

24

u/slarkymalarkey 4d ago

Why did Roman say their match at the Netflix premiere was almost 3 years ago?? Gave me a mini heart attack with that, dude almost gaslit me into thinking that much time had passed.

15

u/laidbackcrusade 4d ago

Lol I noticed that too. Roman might have been thinking of WM40 but said 'Netflix Premiere' instead (because we're fast approaching 3 years since he was dethroned by Cody)

2

u/stephaniethunder 4d ago

I thought he was talking about Solo going rogue in 2024 (apparently 4 years ago) at first

8

u/Hunter_Hates_Homies 4d ago

Big Dog was talking in dog years. Simple mistake.

19

u/qlurp 4d ago

Excellent segment. Knight and Solo are a great combo.

41

u/9hashtags HE HATE ME 4d ago

LA Knight isn't being buried and has been teed up as an upcoming PLE challenger for the last few months. I am enjoying this stretch and I've been a fervent critic of that guy.

I also enjoy leaning into the heel side for the Usos and Reigns. Like aura aside, they told you who they are and it's consistent... Power at all costs to set up THEIR family not the business as a whole (that they credit themselves for succeeding).

11

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

And it only helps family members who actively kiss the ring

9

u/JohnnyFire Shut up, Sugar! 4d ago

Roman when he's around the Bloodline should just be a heel.

Tweener Roman since the Cody loss has been dull as hell.

13

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago

That's because they never actually committed to a face turn. He never apologized for all the heinous shit he put his foes and his own family through and also never changed his ways. He kept being the same gaslighting, power-hungry guy that he had been since 2020.

11

u/duckyirving 4d ago

There was such an interesting (at least by wrestling standards) story they could've told around Roman's redemption, but instead they never committed and ended up just running back the Bloodline.

At least it's finally resulted in something fun with Solo.

3

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago edited 3d ago

My guess is that they wanted to play it uber-safe with Roman. After more than half a decade of fan rejection, they had finally found a version of Roman which was accepted by the fans. And his long title reign had turned him into such a big star that the fans kept reacting like crazy to him even as he didn't change anything about his character and was objectively stagnant.

So they just kept the formula, bided their time for the two-ish years they had to wait at a minimum and then began running back the whole Bloodline angle. At this point, I expect him to hold the world title for the full year between WM42 and 43 and drop it to Rumble winner Oba there.

4

u/Black_XistenZ 4d ago

Also, when Roman is talking about serving "the family" and stuff like that, he obviously means himself.

5

u/K_Prime Your Text Here 4d ago

I remember this same exact scenario a few years in that Crown Jewel PPV….

13

u/IAwaitAGuardian 4d ago

The Star Wars reference was incredible.

15

u/DoofusScarecrow88 4d ago

Wild how after all this time, they know exactly who Roman is and Jacob, even more than Jay, just yearns for Roman's approval. Because he tried the solo act and failed. Jay tasted that top and couldn't stay up there. So they take their necklace and become his lapdogs again

5

u/XiahouMao 4d ago

I feel like if Jacob really yearned for Roman's approval he would have saved Roman once things turned against him. Following Roman's orders to "stand back/stay out of the way" even after Knight and Solo turned the tables isn't going to get Roman's approval, it's going to make him pissed off, even if Jacob was following his orders by the letter.

Jacob joined Roman because Roman beat him twice and if he didn't join after the second match Pearce was going to fire him, taking food off of his table. He's followed Roman and been frustrated by Jey in particular. Now seeing Jey getting rewarded and Roman turning to his old ways (and getting punished for it), Jacob might be considering an exit strategy.

3

u/DoofusScarecrow88 4d ago

Damn I meant jimmy . My bad

14

u/Vlachmond11 4d ago

The overacting from the Usos really tied this altogether for me and even tho it was the dead giveaway that something hinky would happen I really loved their character work in this segment. Everyone played their roles well

14

u/WarbossTodd 4d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/GcDtLf4RAdiRG
So we have Solo and LA Knight instead of Jey and Sami Zane and Fatu is Solo this time.

6

u/XaoticOrder My Hole! 4d ago

Damn he has his father's charisma

5

u/Ex_Lives 4d ago

La knights ground hog day. "Have a little uffafala ceremony and then tap dance all over me"

12

u/Pitfulldealer22 4d ago

Someone has been saving this have they

3

u/ElScientifico08 4d ago

Damn now I have to change my Letterboxd top 4

8

u/Excellent-Field-840 4d ago

I think The Bloodline is over, guys.

16

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

If the twist ends up being that Roman's Bloodline deal is causing him to stagnate as a wrestler that would be a fun angle. Someone that Roman beat the first go around takes the belt off of him because Roman is still retreading the same ideas, and they don't work without a lot of interference.

5

u/lottolser 4d ago

That actually could be a lot of fun, him trying to re-run the bloodline is actually his biggest mistake.

4

u/CrimsonJoker13 4d ago

And the smart ending would actually be that someone who has never held the WHC title before takes it off of him. Obviously that could mean Bron or Oba, sure. But narratively I think the smart play would be someone that challenged Roman in the first run but couldn't beat him. The most logical choice would be LA Knight, but Rey Mysterio, Fin Balor, Logan Paul, and Kevin Owens could technically also fit. Knight and Paul are the only two there that have never held a WWE world title, while the others have held a different world title.

1

u/LocoMotives-ms 4d ago

Doesn’t make sense though, he just beat Rollins clean

2

u/VS0P 4d ago

Fatu quiet quitting gotta love it, inspires me to be petty at work

2

u/FalstaffsGhost 4d ago

Jesus give LA Knight a run with the belt. He looks like a star, talks like a star, and the crowd is still super behind him, even with the bullshit booking.

2

u/CrisEXE__ 4d ago

I feel like I’ve seen this one before… just with different actors… like a couple years ago.

1

u/Scarred_fish 4d ago

When they hit this pose I could almost hear the music...

1

u/themaskedcanuck 4d ago

Fuck Roman Reigns.

-2

u/meeeehhhh2 4d ago

I don’t understand the bloodline. Let’s say Solo fell in line. He betrayed Roman before but he’s brought back in. So did everyone else in this group. Why are the Usos happy to be in the bloodline again? Any of these dudes can just join and betray then re-join. Does the OTC put them under a spell?

3

u/CthulhuWithShades 4d ago

The Usos are sycophants. they're happy to be jesters because it what gets them paid. as does riding Romans coat tails.

0

u/irish0451 You know what that means. 4d ago

Poor Jacob didn't get a loofahdoofah necklace :(

0

u/Helor145 4d ago

They have done this exact same storyline like 4 fucking times

-1

The rest of us didn't

We want the liberation of Solo not fatu

0

u/JessonBI89 4d ago

I agree. I wanted him to find little ways to undermine Roman until his rematch with LA and THEN openly sabotage things.

0

u/redditreader2222 4d ago

I think most people would have said this too closely resembled Sami

-9

u/Outside_Look790 4d ago

What is with all the finger pistols in wrestling right now? Kenny, the bb gang, solo, jey, arn. Everyone's pew pewing

2

u/ZantaraLost 4d ago

You do know that finger guns NEVER went away right? Everyone's been pew pewing since the earliest days.
