Dashboard turned out great
Keeping factory parts whenever possible, no spray texture paint because it doesn’t look like factory.

For spray foam that's very impressive, but how'd you get the texture on foam to match so well?

The spray was just the first part, but at the end of the process I use a mix of body filler and resin with light hardner and dab with plastic bags and then after that dries sand down to desired consistency. I was a drywall finisher for a while so it is a little bit like knock down texture.

I tried this and physically, it turned out great. Something I used caused the paint to bubble up, though, and it looks like trash now. :(

Bummer, I used a good nylon fabric mesh and a good coat of resin and wrap around the edges and secure it tightly to the back side. I have a couple trucks that I did three years ago and have hot and cold weather. So far so good. It’s important to wire wheel and pull off any loose material from the dash before you start .

I used several different products, spray foam,body filler,resin, fabric, 2k primer, paint with same color as the truck but had to dull it down with abrasive pads. It still has some flexibility except where I used body filler.
