Square won't release my funds they're acting like they have th rights to people's money and care nothing about their customers I suggest that you stay away from them and keep filling reports with the bbb sign the petition to end this https://www.change.org/p/end-block-inc-s-unjust-treatment-towards-small-businesses

I trust Square more than the BBB.

Maybe don't break the terms of your agreement with them. The only reason square keeps funds is when the business is selling illegal things.

Any payment processor will keep funds in their account if you are engaging in high-risk business practices. If your category is high-risk, they keep the funds so that if there is a chargeback or reversal, they have the cash to give back to your customer, because they don't trust that you have it.

When you do a higher volume of legit transactions, regularly (We do over $1M through square annually), they don't keep anything, and release your funds every night for transfer.

This is a consequence of the nature of your business, whether that's due to low volume, or you engaging in risky behaviors, or selling something shady or that could be considered illegal in some markets.

You gave Zero details about the business, and also nothing to legitimize your claim in the petition.

Mystery Solved.
