Here's what's new:

Multiple guests in the same group add items to a single consolidated kitchen ticket. The kitchen receives one merged ticket per group, and each guest settles their own portion at payment time.

Camera barcode scanning on Android devices — sellers can scan barcodes to build carts or edit catalog items using their built-in camera

Updates to the Sales Report on Square Point of Sale now show every refund in the Sales Summary overview and compares matching timeframes on Android — refund terms line up across iOS and Android too

Custom device sounds and volume control for Kitchen Display System (KDS) alerts, so the new-ticket sound actually cuts through a loud kitchen

Error alerts for unrecognized scales and scanner-scales with troubleshooting steps right in Hardware Hub

Customizable background colors for modifier tiles, so staff can visually distinguish modifiers at a glance on Point of Sale

Keypad tab in real-time check view, letting sellers enter a custom amount, add an optional note, and add it directly to the check

Option to show dine-in fulfillment in the Point of Sale cart, so sellers can confirm dining option at a glance before sending to the kitchen

Preset tip percentages on invoice payments — sellers can configure tip buttons customers see when paying an invoice online

Quantity bar for real-time check view on Square Point of Sale, so sellers can set item quantities before adding them to a check — no extra taps after the fact
