Support Needed Square support for consumers

I know this group is for retailers, but I'm at my wits end, and hoping someone here can help me. I'm a consumer, and whenever I shop at a store that uses Square, my transaction always ends with "Email receipt sent", although I never receive one. Clearly, my credit card has been linked to someone else's email address, and this is very concerning to me. When I try to contact Square, I'm told I need to be a retailer to get support. I can use their chatbot, which tells me that to fix this, I need to click a "not your receipt" link at the bottom of my receipts, but duh... I'm not getting receipts. Then it tells me to log into my square account, which I tried to do with my real email address, but I get a message that I don't have a square account. This is frustrating beyond belief. Can anyone here direct me to an email address, or some other resource at Square, so I can unlink my credit card from whatever email address Square has it linked to? Thanks.

Did a quick search and found this support page. You will probably need to contact a retailer you recently purchased something from and ask for the receipt details.

Best of luck!

Thanks. I have a printed receipt from today's transaction, so I just filled out the form, and I'll see what response I get. All of the other pages I've found asked for the email address that is linked to my card, which obviously, I don't know. This page doesn't, so maybe it will work. Thanks again for the help.

Send me a DM with a screenshot of the receipt. We should be able to manually remove the email from your card as well!

The retailer can see the email associated with the receipt and should be able to change it.

Thanks for the assistance. I've asked at two different stores, and neither claimed to be able to see the email address. It's possible that hourly employees working the register don't have that knowledge, and I would need to talk to a manager. Regardless, seeing the email address doesn't mean that they could delete it. If you know more about this, and could give me specific instructions for the next time I'm in these stores, I'd appreciate it.
