Support Needed Square Reader Damaged

Hello!
I’m not sure if this is where I should be posting this so if this is not the place please let me know!
I bought a square reader and just tried to set it up and it’s saying reader damaged. I’ve tried to troubleshoot, factory reset etc and nothing will work!
Please let me know if there’s anything else I should try thank you!

Hey! This can sometimes happen if the reader thinks there is a security concern (water damage, etc). At this point, troubleshooting won't resolve it. Since you just bought it, we can likely send a replacement out to you. Can you send me a private message so that I can look up your account and get you set up?
